Well, then 3-gun matches may not be your thing.  So come to a 2-gun match (rifle/carbine and pistol) on 3 December 2005 at the North Texas Shooters Association (NTSA) range just north of Denton, Texas.  More info HERE.

You mean to tell us that there are folks who actually don't like to shoot shotguns?  J/K, bump for your match.

How about some directions and match fee information.

It's not my match, I was just passing on some information.  I also looked on their website and could not find any directions to the NTSA range or match fees.  Best bet would be to call or e-mail the listed contact.  Hope this helps!

OK, I also found a map to the range:

I might be interested...

Do you need to be part of NTSA to participate? Also, if applicable, what will the entry fee's be like?

All shooters are welcome.  You do not need to be a member of NTSA to participate in the 2-gun match.  The match fees are (tentatively) going to be $10 for one gun (pistol or rifle) and $15 for two (pistol and rifle).    This will be confirmed soon and a proper notice with all the information will be posted on shootntsa.com.

The pistol match will begin at 0900.  After the pistol match is completed, the rifle match will begin, probably around 1130.

This is a first for the club and, therefore, will be fairly simple.  The pistol and rifle will each have five stages.   We hope these stages generate some interest and allow us to continue and offer more advanced courses of fire in the future.

Thanks for the interest, and thanks to hit4me for posting a message.

The next match is tentatively scheduled for December.  This was the first one, and naturally there are growing pains.  It should get better and better with more creative COF's and targets.

How long do the matches last? With enough warning I might be able to make it.
