Ditch ta31, acquire ta33?

That's impressive OP.
What optic mount do you prefer on your 1-8s? What optic if you wanted more power for a 223/556, or do you believe 8x is all it needs? |

Razor works fine if you don't like the NX8 eyebox and are already fat enough for the weight to not bother you.

RustedAce - I think I can convince you, beyond a reasonable doubt, your list is incomplete. Shall we agree that the RMR is also a worthy optic

NX8 agree.
TA33, I just could never get used to the toilet paper tube FOV. I like the 4x models quite a bit more, but eye relief sucks. I’ll also second the MK5HD if you need more than 8x. Attached File |

Up close that helps, but shooting/scanning at distance, both eyes open ain’t going to help the tiny magnified FOV, at least for me. I’ve tried a number of times. |

Shit, the FOV and glass on the TA44 aren’t even as good as the Bushnell Lil’ P. The 3x PA prism is really damned good and I can’t see buying a TA44 over one if I am honest. I really like the TA33, but there are only a few use cases where I would recommend it over the PA SLX 3x. And I’m not ‘the poors’, I can spend what I want to on an optic. |

IMO, Trijicon needs to revamp their lowered powered prisms RFN or they will lose that piece of the market to other companies that don’t ask $1k+ for their products. The 1x, 2x, and 3x all need to be made smaller and have larger FOV’s. |

The reticle can be too bright and bloom on a sunny clear day. The cover helps sharpen and adjust the reticle |
