Fast forward to now. We have three boys, 10, 10, and 12, and they all love to shoot, especially .22s. Had to order a DA Mask with these quick turnaround times. Took 27 days. While we waited, I had that Ruger threaded and ordered a better scope setup, complete with new rings and base.

It’s so damn quiet it’ll make you giggle like a fool. Golf balls, empty shotgun shells, clay pigeons, tiny steel plates, nothing is safe.

Does ok on paper at 100, but the clay birds are more fun at 100.

Much better at 50yds of course. You could hit a quarter with each shot without much trouble. Of course, no pics of the 50yd targets. You’ll just have to believe me LOL.

Scope is a Hawke rimfire with a reticle that is spot on so far between the 50yd and 100yd positions.

For me, CCI Quiets and a Henry .22 are perfect

Yes. Yes you should.

I need another DA Mask for the MkII that was supposed to share this can with the 10/22. Nope. 10/22 claims it.

Yep it’s a winner. 1070fps is just right.

I love MiniMags for the spice, but they’re too fast for accuracy.

I shot a suppressed 22 at steel last weekend for the first time and I was giggling like a schoolgirl every shot.

Suppressed .22 never gets old.

It's like shooting a bb gun.

Thanks. That sounds unusually interesting and I look forward to seeing it.

Back on topic, my SBR'd, suppressed, nighttime critter-gitter:

@ErikOR what barrel is that?

It's the factory barrel and shroud that comes on the 10/22 Takedown Lite model. I don't know if it's it's a special barrel profile. Here's what they look like from the factory. They came in your choice of bright red, yellow, blue or green. The shroud is the same diameter as my suppressor, which makes for a very nice looking setup.
