Same thing we've seen in the 10 years since this came out - Replace the citizens via dilution
Just a coincidence they all spoke Spanish. The wealthy white English speaking people are hoarding the nice houses and healthcare, so invade and take over their separate world by treachery. Also: Jodie Foster is a total smoke show. Free on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKRYtNVg4Uo |

Between Prime and YouTube, most all non major movies are available for free intermittently. Some specific ones they want a premium for, but I've seen them for rent on Prime when they're free "with ads" on YouTube, but an ad blocker makes them just free. They seem to rotate them in and out every 6 months or so, if thinking of a movie that's not worth paying for, just search and then search again in 6 months and it's probably free on one of the platforms you don't need another subscription for.

Jim Carrey in a serious role.
Movie has gratuitous nudity and violence starting with the opening credits, which I find odd for something on YouTube - Uploaded to "YouTube Movies" by YouTube and not some random user. Story is actually pretty good and could have done without the over the top levels of sadistic sex, IMHO. Honestly, Jim Carrey has very few lines and most of it is expression and he actually does a not total shit job of it, after being severely typecast as a goofball, he isn't the same guy, the beard helps, so does not talking I suppose, and when he does talk, it's a lot lower tone, slow voice. I actually liked Elysium, but yeah, it’s the kind of story where the bad guys win. Fast forward a few years and Elysium station would have been turned into a dump before burning up and crashing to the earth’s surface.

That costs money. Just give the killed dude pills to not feel like he's dying and pull another guy off the street. That's far cheaper than maintaining a healing machine and guarding it from theft/damage/running it into the ground. |

Not any of the social programming like the level big names get. The production quality is of course lower, but the stories are usually solid and as interesting as the mainstream movies. Problem is some rely too much on special effects to make it a good movie. If you see movie budget was $300k for primary cinematography and $5 million for special effects, it's better to just skip that one and head for on te that is simpler, usually only shot in around2 or 3 locations and only medium level special effects. The "Time Trap" I posted above is really inte5esting with some special effects that are a bit cheesy but the story is solid about finding the fountain of youth. |

I am not saying its good or bad just what it is. Let's be honest the world needs classes, you make everyone the same no one will want to flip burgers, dig ditches etc. As much as my empathy says it sucks that we need a lower class ( or lower middle ) my brutal honesty says its needed. If you have some that are just never gonna be better than a framer, you will at least have framers. Yes capitalism could make the pay high enough to be a framer, but most would not want to do it. |

Why do only Americans deserve the chance to live out the American dream simply because we are already here legally? Besides, in the movie they don’t really delve into how these autodocs work. We are assuming they run off of hopes and dreams and have unlimited use. Perhaps they require a lot of expensive chemicals and resources per use. Or maybe they cost a billion bucks a piece and are only good for 100 major procedures. |

This is always a fun watch about poker.
Worm does a great job at being despised, I wouldn't have vouched for him but, well, somebody did. Should have gotten the hint when he threw down the set hands at the cop card game. Can't believe he's that blatant and lived as long as he did to start with. Rounders (MIRAMAX) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lBNu1sGktVI |

Elysium was good, so long as you realize we live there. Everywhere outside North America is pretty resource poor without global supply chains.
I liked Rounders, mostly for the KGB jokes at actual poker tables. |

Another good one, though I liked "Radius" better, there's a lot of cheesy crap acting for free and very nice when there's actually a good show, though i think this was a "big show" at some point. I've read the book series but didn't know they made it a movie.

Watching some old movies and I've noticed something Really striking I hadn't thought too much about.
Compared to movies in the past decade, especially different for movies prior to 1990 1) Most actors had blue and green eyes, at least the leads do, especially most girls. 2) Black guys had a lot darker/very brown skin (nearly Somalian black), in addition had few appearances let alone roles, with Middle Eastern, Indian, Oriental, and Mexicans not really having any roles. I like the DUST sci-fi shorts, a lot of them are excellent for being extremely low budget, they beat a lot of Hollywood 90s sci-fi hands down for both effects and acting/believability.
This one is kind of a neat "Cheat casino" movie, Filmed in Italy, lots of Russian/Slavic names in the credits list, but it also has Antonio Banderas. IMDB Info is scant Starts out a regular con guy gets busted and is given a week to payback what he stole - so he finds paranormal/supernatural powered people to help him win to save his life from getting busted. Antonio Baneras is doing the same thing. Beyond the Edge https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OjSZvVWFZoo |

Movie is dumb. The machine is a representation of what the US medical system looks like to illegals. Get across the border, have a baby, use the ED as your primary care, NEVER pay. |
