This is a bit of a new direction, science fiction mixed in with tech trends. I liked it. AJ seemed to be having fun too. Made for a great show.

Yeah, great episode!
I even learned something: even though I was big into the Greek myths as a kid, I never knew hope remained in Pandora's box. Cool! |

I watched Gattaca and thought it was uncomfortably close. Welp...
Worth a watch if you enjoyed latest episode - same premise. GATTACA (1997) - First 10 Minutes |

HF wasn't as bad as other recent episodes with sophomoric and even grade school playground level injections, but overall it's a great episode. Content seems to back up to the higher standard AJ Set for himself in the years prior. The schedule/timing incongruity, not so much, but I'll forgive. |

I always liked the premise of Gattaca but hated the movie.
Last episode was alright, I honestly got bored in the fan fiction parts but the parts where he talked out present day issues was interesting. I’m glad hecklefish has shut the fuck up, he was getting pretty bad. Hes much better in short well delivered doses |

I love TWF… but I am not really a fan of this sci fi stuff. I just want to learn about mysterious things, not hear his radio opera telling of them.

I never do other things when watching TWF but I was cruising my phone every time he went into the future story stuff I’m not gonna bitch too much, when he was talking about thinks that really happened it was full of good content and overall these past few episodes have been much better. |

Just stop saying it will be every Thursday after a month of restructuring then failing that schedule right out of the gate. I understand that there is probably 12 hours of video/audio recording to get the footage needed and another 5-10x that in editing/compositing of the video which the team does in parallel. It takes a lot of time to produce quality videos, but he managed to do it for 2+ years and now has more staff and faster systems in a new studio and editing shop so people working 40 hours a week can easily schedule recording then extra visual story image locating/generating which can happen in parallel with cutting together the good non stumble/blooper sections of the recordings. Then he's doing another 20 hours of audio only recording/editing for the podcast that may or may not be interesting/taking off (I haven't seen much it on audible) which is all audio only and can be in post with a different editor compositing the audio only. That could be AJ himself after he records and putting in 40 hour weeks while the rest of the team does the video recording and post production which is usually 10-20x as long as the video itself. It's not easy but with 4 and possibly more people, it is not unattainable with 160+ scheduled man hours of labor each week. I'm fine with it being every other week or whatever if he just announces that in advance. |

If I was big tech, and I had a goal, the tools, and all that control to fine tune everything to the user level, that's how I'd do it. |
