Who makes a good jo?

I also notice that Kingfisher now makes an "enhanced", and very expensive, version of polymerized hickory. Anyone have any personal knowledge of those?

We had several jo and bokken sets from them as loaner weapons at my first dojo and they gave years of good service despite lots of abuse.
