Local news has the mugshot posted, looks real to me. Might already be released, but does look like he was booked.

If he tried to drive through a Traffic Homicide Investigation then it sounds like he was the asshole and the cop was just doing his job.

The point is, he didn't.

He didn't drive through an accident scene. He didn't drive through an investigation. He drove his obvious player vehicle where the traffic cop who contacted him TOLD him to go and Traffic Waingro had to get it on.

The city is going to get loved fucking tenderly.

This is the state of policing in America. They were forced to find victims besides blacks.

That’s my fear. This shouldn’t blow over.

Officer Dipshit either went pit bull rage mode and just had to get it on with the nearest victim, or he thought he was getting a chance to massage his ego and exercise his authoritae over a perceived inconsequential dis… anyone else he would have gotten away with it.

He needs to be hit with lawsuits for as long as it is possible. Make the process the crime. Ruin his life forever.

When you're facing a felony,  famous or not, the outcome is uncertain.  If you can make it all go away with a 'group hug' he'd be wise to do so,  this isn't a question of either paying a BS speeding ticket or fighting it on principle... There are serious potential consequences.

I get that, but it’s obviously a case of law enforcement doing what law enforcement does in this country.

He has the resources to be right. Little guys have to just plea down and hope we can avoid a felony.

In my eyes he has a moral obligation to fight if they want to pursue charges.

Dropping it and issuing an apology does in many ways achieve the same. Make them admit they were wrong, their boy is a jackboot, and the other officers failed to get their boy in line.

Step one. Get the victim cleared of the BS charges.
Step two. Use lawfare.

Sounds plausible.  Directing traffic is a cruel and thankless trench.  I never, ever, grab a vehicle.  I have been run over, put up on the hood, and brushed back many times.

Then why try to fuck over a dude as the cops obviously did.

"However, a Louisville Metro Police Department arrest report released Friday said Det. Bryan Gillis was dragged to the ground and suffered "pain, swelling and abrasions" to his left wrist and knee after Scheffler's SUV accelerated.

Gillis was transported to a hospital by emergency medical personnel for evaluation. The report said his uniform pants were also damaged beyond repair.

Scheffler faces charges of second-degree assault of a police officer, third-degree criminal mischief, reckless driving and disregarding traffic signals from an officer directing traffic. The assault charge is a felony; the others are misdemeanors.

An arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday at 9 a.m. ET."

Charged with a fucking felony.

fuck off with your faggotry of oh the charges may be dropped.

I don't think anyone here thinks Scottie did anything wrong, especially after reading the arrest report and hearing the espn reporters detail on what happened. Except maybe for the one or two who keep repeating that he drove through the accident scene with a cop on his hood and repeating a bunch of other crap that they heard instead of actually reading about the incident themselves.

The issue is that the cops are self righteous pricks. He was doing as he was directed by the event cops and some ego driven douche with a badge on a power trip decided to be a retard. Grabbed the door handle of a moving car in the dark, fell, ripped his pants and played the victim and not one other cop there stepped in and said "hey Bryan, what are you doing dumbass".

I don't see this as a financial problem. I see it as a discipline/fitness problem. Scottie doesn't need money. And he has won 4 out of 5 of his last tournaments and something tells me he will win this one. More millions. He will finish in big money no matter what. He's just that good. He is not a fluke. He is a phenom. And it's mostly mental discipline.

The city worker needs a career change and counseling.

It doesn't fucking matter if they are dropped.  Scottie will be alright because he is a millionaire many times over.  How about some other poor guy that gets a stack of chargers in similar situations.  THAT is the problem.  The average Joe loses his job, wife, house, career and any potential earnings he had when fuckstick cocksockers like deputy cunt brains here tosses out a bunch of charges.  It doesn't matter if they are dropped.  That is now public record any time he would apply for a job. Friends, family, church, school all know would deeply distrust a random person slapped with the same shit.  The fact that police officers like yourself can't see that is a huge fucking problem and absolutely inexcusable is exactly why most people hate cops.  You can fucking ruin a life even with shit that is dropped.

Like I said earlier, I pray this country doesn't go COC.  It used to just be people of color who feared the cops.  Now, everyone one of us are one encounter away from this shit.  All in the name of officer safety of course.

I mean, I’ve been watching these dickholes do their thing for 20 years. They all have a chip on their shoulder. They’re all the pitbulls of humanity.

They are overwhelmingly a detriment to civilized society. They are making things worse.

ET."

The world would be a much better place if you could sue these bumbling idiots individually that we employ to “protect and serve” sadly the taxpayers are the ones taking it in the ass for their incompetence and recklessness.

I believe the accident was a mile away and he was like 100 yards from the turn-in. But nice try...
