The fit and finish on this batch of early guns surpasses all that followed. 16” heavy barrel shoots very accurately. No wonder Russians win Olympic Competitions! Romanian Romak 2 5.45 first import 1997 rifle. Rare compared to SAR which came in large numbers. DIG early Century import-a true double stack receiver when imported. Has original Romanian front site block and muzzle brake, original Romanian beautiful light color laminate furniture. I was very lucky to find this rare rifle in this configuration in 1999! Comes with the correct steel Romanian 5.45 30rd. Mag.  Bolt and carrier have matching serial #s. Comes with original sling and has the East German flip up nite sites installed for CQB and the rubber butt pad to better fit western anatomy. These remove easily on and off. Atlantic is selling a AIM 74 copy with US receiver and US barrel for $1599. Beware of folks selling “all matching #s AIMS 74 rifles” they are US builds and not Romanian made receivers or Romanian barrels. You can have the real Romanian factory assembled and made one!
