A friend of mine bought this yesterday. I believe it’s a belgian made mauser action that’s been rebarreled, but that’s just a guess.

Belgian 98 Mauser in a nicely fitted Reinhardt Fagen stock. Would guess work is done by Crossman or Grossman who signed barrel under caliber stamp. I don't care for the "Weatherby" influenced stock but you have a very nice rifle.
