Guys, I just finished up a new design for a fixed blade EDC 4" all-puropse knife.
.125" thick clip point with a matte finish, black canvas micarta sculpted handle and G10 pins.
20 LPI thumb jimping on the spine
CPM Magnacut @ HRC 61 should be darn tough!
What do you think?

Looks and sounds like a knife that can go good things.  I’m liking what I hear about Magnacut.  Looking for a folder with it right now that is quality, but not crazy expensive.  The more expensive an item is, the quicker I lose it.

Looks nice. For Sale? Crucible Magnacut?   Usually HRC61 = brittle.

thanks, Magnacut is designed to perform at HRC 63-64

HRC 61 is a VERY tough hardness for Magnacut.

Very nice, perfect size/shape for a camp knife, it's exactly how I like mine to be.

61 is conservative from what i've read about Magnacut, nothing wrong with that, should be tougher than the 63-64 blades, sounds like a nice compromise.

G10 pins though? Don't think i've ever seen that before.

I have Fiddleback forge knives with G10 pins.  They have held up the same as any other pin.  In fact, I carry a Runt daily that has G10 pins.

Great design doubleplus!  Really looks like a all-round tough blade.
