What do you prefer to carry if you have to carry a fixed blade?
The only one I have thats small enough to edc is a SOCP dagger.

I'll toss a SOCP on occasionally.  Never really carry any other fixed blade unless I'm in the woods.

How do you like that 117?
I have a 117 but only have it in leather handle (first year issue) that I don't want to use.
I strap a 119 when camping.

Buck 119 in 3V, limited edition for the BOTM program, straight clip point, no fuller, a sweet hunk of some of the toughest knife steel on the planet, love that blade.

If I want to be extra low profile with it though, i'll carry a CS drop forged hunter in 52100, nice blade, shorter and super slim, doesn't print even under a light t-shirt.

Used to be an Esee Izula-II.  Really a great knife.
I went on a family trip to TN earlier this year, near Smoky Mountain Knife Works, and spent some time in there.  Came away with a Boker Barlow BFF.  It wasn't cheap, but man is this knife nice.  Small, crazy sharp, awesome pocket sheath with a neat folded leather design so there's no seam visible in the leather at the top.
great pocket size at 6.10 overall length, with 2.76 inch blade.
I'll need to take some pics of mine, but here it is from Boker:

@sanman28,

Yeah, I "can", and it's not uncomfortable, but I need to right pair of pants. Vertx and 5.11 jeans that have the extra magazine pocket are necessary.

I always carry a light with my wallet in the back left pocket. The left "magazine" pocket suits my Northman (in a deep pocket sheath) perfectly. In the right "magazine" pocket, I carry a Leatherman FREE multitool. Front right is your typical folder, and my front left pocket is my spare mag with NeoMag holder.

CCW is carried AIWB.

Don't ask what I carry if I'm really paranoid or just feel like packing my apocalypse EDC
