I run an Alien Gear carrier now. No complaints and nothing wrong with it. I'm just simply seeing if there are any options out there that might ride a little closer to the body. Not interested in Comp-Tac as I've already had two of them break.

I've used this Safariland model #123 single mag pouch for 20 years. First one wore out after about 15 years. This one's leather is a bit more thick than the earlier model. Rides closer than other types. The velcro hasn't broken loose, using Glock 21/41 mags.

Tightest, thinnest, closest body-hugging setup is Blue Force Gear Ten Speed belt mounted pouch, single or double.
Lowest profile there is (other than in a pocket), and excellent retention. Extremely lightweight too. |

Here you go.
I usually carry one spare mag appendix opposite my holster, but I ran this today in a 10-hr class to carry a second spare. I use the concealment clip. Not as solid as a DCC clip but stays put pretty well. |

Check out Gunfighters Inc. Their mag holsters are very good. I can hid 2 double stack mags easily.

I like their design but found that the belt loop version hangs too low for my preference - much lower than most traditional concealed carry mag pouches. The ten speed would stick out below my shirt tail on most normal T-shirts and Polos, and my shirt tail would ride up on the magazines if I bent or moved around at all because they sat so low. |
