I’m going to be making a kydex mag pouch for my BHP mags and this is my first time with kydex.
For anyone who’s done it, is it better to use one piece of kydex and just fold it over with Chicago screws at the edges, or go 2 piece and Chicago screws all around? Is kydex appropriate to use for the belt slits or should I buy dedicated loops?
I’ve got the kydex (.080 I believe). Ive got an old toaster oven large enough for my sheets (12” square) and the screws. The press I can easily make. Plenty of basic hand tools.
Any suggestions,tips, hints?
I’m watching plenty of utube vids and it just doesn’t look all that horrible to do.
