What's the process? Thanks. Dump it out, spread it out (in this case with Mahindra 3640 and box blade), then compact it. If the plasticity index is proper when it arrives(which it was) it will basically turn into lw strength concrete. |

New to us tractor day for my wife and I also.
A 2014 Kioti DS4510 with backhoe followed us home from a local estate auction. 161 hours of use and I don't think the owner ever used the hoe or the bucket. Got my tractor 101 helping load three project tractors and a batch of implements. Primary job for the tractor will be moving logs onto our bandsaw mill, (loading by hand is a pain in the butt). Have got a multi page list of jobs for the backhoe already. It'll be nice to work on that list at my pace, rather than renting a mini ex and frantically spending the weekend trying to get everything done. Semper Fi |

Grapple is also possible though we would need a line to bring the hydraulic to the front. Or we could just get a thumb kit for the hoe... Also would like a land plane more than a box blade. But they're hard to find on the used market, while box blades are a dime a dozen around here. |

Had a Allis Chalmers 180 Diesel. Got rid of it because I got done what I needed to and I was tired of working on it all the time. So instead I got a free skid steer JD 575, which I am working on continuously because it was in pieces when I got it.

Also, ag tires are sometimes rough on the ground, but they’ll keep you from getting stuck. |

View Quote To be fair, the dealership issue is entirely dependent on your location, and you're shopping the dealer as much as you are the equipment. I went into my purchase thinking I was going to be on team orange, but I ended up on team green due to my local JD dealer being so much better on everything from fair pricing, the sales process, service, etc. Congrats on your BX, it's an awesome little tractor! |

THAT is a must around here when heating with wood. Didn't really think i would find so many uses for forks around here. My forks left Indiana yesterday and should be delivered next week. Said the heck with it and ordered some from Express Steel. Ordered in the morning, had an ABF tracking number in a couple hours, and ABF had the forks that evening. |
