I had an AD this past weekend while loading my shotgun. I thought I share my experience as this is the third time I have seen it happen in a match. Be careful ladies and gents. The AD is at the end of the video. I loaded the gun and when I went to roll it back over my ring finger got in the trigger guard and BOOM!

Weakhand is definitely safer IMO. You can flip the gun without moving your strong hand off the grip. I'm gonna experiment with that method this off season myself. You also avoid burning your weakhand hand on the barrel.
I don't take my weak hand off the gun, I roll my wrist toward my bicep. I find it's easier to manage, and faster than flipping the gun in my grip, plus on long stages, I don't burn my hand on the barrel.
