We have to gone from the team that scores the most goals in the last 10 minutes to the team that allows the most goals in the last 10 minutes.  Hammers, Spurs, today.  Just completely fucking unacceptable.   Mac Allister has done that twice this year.  I can’t remember the other time but same thing, gives the ball up right in the center of the pitch….goal.  And what happened to Szobezlai.  Good grief.

Just…limping over the line.   Losing in the FA cup to United took the wind completely out of our sails.  I will also say it:  I’m not sure Allison is a better keeper than Kelleher at this point.  We were lucky his fuck up wasn’t a goal too.   Not that I fault him for any of their 3…not much he could do, and he made a fantastic save to save the point.

And it’s time to just make TAA a midfielder.  Put Bradley on the wing and let’s actually play some damn defense.

ETA:  as I’m typing that ESPN’s player ratings come out:  Mac Allister 4/10, Allison 5/10.  Yep

No, this comes down to City at Tottenham tomorrow….

I'd prefer West Ham to take them... 3 or 4 red cards would do it.

Well, according to a story this morning Link, Alison is one of the main targets of the Saudi League this summer, along with Ederson, Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro (please, no. Leave United stuck with his last three years). Surpised there is no mention of Mo Salah

So can Spurs be giant killers? Still a chance for them to clinch that 4th spot from Villa...

Spurs probably have the best record against City. MC have only won once in 6 attempts at Tottenham Hotspur stadium. For whatever reason, Spurs always play well against them.

And that first half momentum did not carry through.

Trust spurs to mess it up...

Onto the Hammers... Sunday at 4pm, Arsenal play at the same time, so who knows what's going to happen.

A toe poke  to the near corner and Son would have equalized

As part of Hazard’s transfer to RM, Chelsea are set to receive an additional $5M due to RM reaching the UCL final. Despite Hazard retiring, the clause is still valid. It is believed that an additional bonus will be due if they win the UCL.

Marina Granovskaia was a transfer wizard and was by far the biggest loss when Clearlake took over.

I can't recall if she wanted to stay on, but just another example of Boehly's arrogance if she did and he didn't try and retain her.

If they top the table it would be funny to see the title being held until they sort out those 115 charges... no #4 for City.

So Adidas dropped the 24/25 Arsenal kit today... Nike dropped the new City kit.

Villa deserves it. Heck for much of the year 2023 they had the most wins in the PL. unfortunately injuries began to mount and the last month hasnt been as definitive as earlier in the season. Hopefully this is a real turning point for Villa as Emery brings in some key players and depth.

My friend is a big Villa fan. Since I started becoming a fan he's been there waving the Villa flag (mostly figuratively but I'm sure he'd literally do it)

I'm happy for him his team is coming around.

With the Euros coming up, Netflix just released this:

The Final: Attack on Wembley

I remember it being discussed at the time what a $#!tshow it was, but this really drives it home. No spoilers, but one of the comments at the end is very eye opening.

I’m torn, if City win the FA cup then Chelsea will be in the Europa League. If Man U win then Chelsea will in the Europa Conference League. It is the only trophy we haven’t won. So to say “we’ve won it all” we need to add it to the trophy cabinet. But the Conference League is like the short-bus of European competition.

I watched the Liverpool game while out and about. Had to watch until Jurgen left the pitch.

What a guy. Absolutely loves the club, and even worked to get the fans fired up on his replacement.
