It’s hard to explain the appeal of these if you’ve never fired one but the combination of Ruger’s durability,  lightweight, and having a magnum caliber with low recoil in a gun originally designed for 22 LR/22 mag makes it an extremely fun piece to carry and shoot. If you’re a hand loader .32 H&R is economical and easy to reload.
