Bulgarian Wood Handguards, Polish Beryl Folding Stock, Scope Rail, Tapco G2, Russian OTK-21 Sling I ALSO like 'em when the furniture doesn't match. I have a few like that. I have matching upper and lower but intentionally mix them all the time. These SBRs have seen a lot of the range lately. They are fun to shoot and with earplugs are not as loud as the internet commandos say they are. Disclaimer: Ignore the one with the fancy rail and optics ...that baby now host a fix stock and no rail. |

Interesting combination of BFPU metal and nearly mint polished handguards. It's missing the bottom rivet of the rear trunnion. There should be a total of 5 rivets that hold that type of rear trunnion - 4 short and 1 long. From what I can see, you only have 1 short rivet on the one in the picture. See the difference? |

I like this thread.
Someone posted that they couldn't tell the difference between this and the tacticool thread.....I think the difference being that almost all of the guns in this thread are not completely changed over to modern.....meaning that most all have keep the same operational parts as they were designed to (AK stock, right side charging handle, selector) while having additions that make the weapon system more functional. A few other things I have noticed, most of these guns appear to have been shot quite a bit.....which I also think is pretty cool. I have always been of the opinion that the rifle is a tool and the man is the real weapon. It is nice seeing others share the same opinion. R |
