I'll play too....
Oklahoma Firearms billet lower (39th made of 200 to start) Double Star LPK MOE grip engraved by NDZ Magpul PTS ACS stock (temporarily until I get a full blown ACS) CMMG Ramped BCG JSE 16" upper ProMag mag block Primary Arms 1-4x24 Scope I have a rifle length YHM free float hand guard in the mail on its way to me. 
I traded a 15-22 and 4 mags for the upper, mag block and 3 ProMag poly mags. Granted I only paid for one of the extra 15-22 mags and the lower parts were a gift, so I only have about $900 in it all. I don't think I did to bad for a budget gun. |

Here is my Colt 6951 I bought last month. I've added the following:
- Magpul MIAD grip, FDE - Magpul ACS-L, FDE - Magpul polymer trigger guard - FDE - Tactical Link enhanced battery assist lever - FDE (I like these much better than Magpul's version) - Troy/VTAC DeltaRail in FDE - Magpul AFG - FDE - Bushnell TRS-25, with medium riser and custom made Butler Creek flip-open scope covers - BCM/Vltor Mod4 (Medium) charging handle - A whole lot of the MetalForm 32rd mags while it's still legal for me to purchase them here in Kolorado I stripped the rifle and cleaned the heck out of it (it came from Colt dripping of lube) then painted all of the parts in Brownells Aluma-Hyde II "Earth" Color. I read here and several other cases that the 'Coyote' color was the closest match to Magpul's FDE. In my experience that was not the case. I painted some test parts with Coyote and it was a grey color, really no brown in it. The 'Earth' color was closest, albeit a little darker, than Magpul's FDE. In the end, I'm happy with the color. The picture shows the rifle next to some ATACS camo gear. I find that ATACS is the best camo for my particular environment in the mountains of Kolorado. My next project it to take this base color of FDE rifle, make some stencils of the ATACS patten, and paint the entire rifle to match ATACS as closely as possible.

Here's one I just put together this week. Please excuse the crappy cell pics, will get some proper ones once I get some rounds down range.
YHM standard upper YHM midlength smooth FF handguard YHM standard 16" barrel YHM 5C2 flash hider CMMG enhanced bolt PSA charging handle 9mmar.com gas deflector and short cover NFA G15 lower Promag block PSA premium LBK I have a DDLES lower on order. This lower is slated for a Grendel build but since I'm waiting on a barrel for that, figured I would use it on the 9mm until the DDLES comes in. Need a FA plug and tac latch, but it'll shoot the way it is. Taking it to the range this weekend. Went ahead and put this together since 9mm is all I'm having luck finding locally. Kane |

The front sight mount is from Mossie Tactics. It replaces the left side nut of a Troy BUIS and puts a universal rail at a lower ride height. For my build, I cut the Noveske NSR 7" rail back so I could seat the light further to the rear. This was due to the short barrel length I am using. Here are some better pictures. The color appears proper in these shots.

No doubt the 9mm AR looks a whole lot better with the correct mag well for the 9mm magazine (DDLES Lower) than the 223/556 converted lower. I might just be biased :/

A little re working on the carbine
YHM Q rail Irons cause they are more fun on this gun for some reason And a fwd grip and 190 lumen light with strobe setting.

Did anybody using the KX3 1/2x28 have to bore it out any for 9mm??
I'm wanting to do what beanfield33 did when not using my Gemtech MM...it's hard to find a 1/2x28 9mm flash hider in the 3.5-4" length, I'm planning on getting the 3-lug to 1/2x28 adapter. |

My first 9mm AR build.
CMMG Colt-pattern 9mm AR lower MI rail Some obscure upper with no dust cover, etc. Ramped bolt Home-made barrel (chopped, turned, bead blasted, and parkerized by my friend GeneT) from a Green Mountain Barrels 9mm blank Form 1 sent to ATF on May 1st. Maybe December? Barrel is threaded 1/2 x28, and the A2 flash hider has been bored out for a 9mm projectile and indexed so as to not have to use a crush washer. Magpul sights, and a el-cheapo Bushnell TRS-25 on a UTG riser. 
Here it is with my Osprey45 with a 1/2x28 piston and fixed barrel spacer.

My most recent pistol caliber build. Built this about two months ago, but just getting around to posting pics now. I got a great deal on two complete Colt 9mm uppers, so I pretty much just built this with a spare stripped lower I had and parts that were laying around. I have put a few mags through it so far and it has functioned flawlessly. The bolt is off getting ramped now, and the plan is to SBR it.
