Where did you find a BA 13.7 with a midlength gas port?  All I can find is their carbine length.  I want a Triarc barrel but the 6 week wait is making have second thoughts.

I'm sorry. It is a carbine length. I have had this barrel for 5-6 years and the original paperwork was for a mid but what the seller could provide was a carbine length.

My middie. No big changes in a while other than adding a rubber rail cover for some comfort. Keep going back and forward on getting irons. It's a range toy and my backup for home defense so they haven't been a priority.

Here's my midlength lightweight build with a bit of extra chunk on her for now with the Huey. Got rid of the super lightweight Brigand stock that was on her for the ARFX stock, and she's probably as close to done as possible.

Thank you all. Handguard is a B5 Systems mlok polymer drop in handguard.  I haven't had it long, but so far I really like it.  It is super slim and lightweight, and has a built in heat shield.

That's awesome! The B5 handguard has become one of my favorites, and is perfectly paired with the CAR stock.

Colt Ar15A3. Pulled the barrel and installed a Faxxon 11.5 Gunner Middy barrel with a Superlative block.
Original Colt guts except for a Larue MBT trigger. Trijicon Accupower 1-4 in a LT104 mount. The tube is a Nordic and of course your standard G2X in a Keymod mount that I really worked over to fit in the Nordic tube's holes.

I installed this midlength 16 inch barrel myself on my Colt model AR6721 marked AR-15A3 Tactical Carbine using LaRue Tactical 9 inch rail system.

The barrel blank was from Rock Creek Barrels mil-spec 4150 CMV barrel steel, medium contour, chrome lined, 1/7, M4 feed ramps and 5.56 NATO chamber.

The barrel was contoured, chambered, enhanced feed ramps and FSB assembled by Compass Lake Engineering.

Magpul MIAD grip, B5 Systems Enhanced SOPMOD buttstock, Colt H2 carbine buffer, Knight's Armament Co. Micro 200-300m rear backup iron sight and Bobro-GG&G gen 1 aluminum bipod.

Swampfox Arrowhead 1-10X24 illuminated BDC 30mm tube LPVO mounted on Warne QD skeletonized aluminum lever mount and Surefire M961 weaponlight.

The lower AR in the photo is a 14" BRT Mid-length barrel with a pinned & welded Warcomp. John Thomas (Retro Arms Works) did a beautiful job on the Warcomp. Clocking is perfect for a leftie like me.  Length is safely legal and the Socom-RC2 had the desired clearance to the 13.5" Geissele handguard. John's welding is above first class. On top of fantastic work he shipped the barrel back the same day he received it.

Just for reference, the upper AR in the photos is a 10.5" barrel with a 9.5" Geissele.

Colt CR6960 midlength gas system carbine modified.

This was the Colt factory configuration of the CR6960 midlength carbine, basic Centurion Arms OEM M-LOK 13.5 inch handguard with less vent holes and no quick detachable sling mounts, A2 grip, M4 waffle stock and no sights.

My personal preference mods:

Centurion Arms 13.5 inch 5.56 M-LOK rail ML1513
Magpul M-LOK panels
B5 Systems grip (more upright angle)
B5 Systems BRAVO SOPMOD mil-spec size buttstock
Scalarworks Peak 01 fixed front sight
Knight's Armament Micro 200-600M folding rear sights
Geissele ambidextrous selector safety (short right side lever)
Magpul PMAG gen 3 with windows
Blue Force Gear Vickers multicam arid desert 2 point sling
Swampfox Arrowhead 1-6X24 illuminated BDC LPVO (borrowed from my other Colt M4 carbine)
Warne aluminum FDE quick detachable lever optic mount

Without the optic mounted as shown she weights 6.88 lb (6 lb 14 oz) which is very close to the factory spec weight of 6.95 lb (6 lb 15 oz).
My optic and mount is slightly under 2 lb.
