Please excuse my newbness and any mistakes that may come from this post, as it is my first on this platform. I recently purchased a PSA 8.5" Pistol-length gas system 300AAC upper and a Banish Backcountry silencer to use in conjunction. I aim to find a handguard that will shroud the barrel and silencer while leaving only a small portion of the silencer visible at the end. The barrel length + the silencer length comes to 14" total, so I would like to find something in the 12" - 13.5" range that also accommodates the 1.6" diameter of the silencer. I would greatly appreciate any products that anyone could refer me to, along with any advice on why this may or may not be a good idea.

The Frugal Ferret: Honey Badger for the Poors (Pt1)/KAK Short Buffer Review

I don’t personally recommend a fully tucked can. Can’t use any rail space that isn’t picatinny, and heats up fast. The Aero enhanced hand guard would do what you want.

That makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the info.
