I did have an ATPIAL-C, but it was useless without NV, so I sold it. Can would be nice, but I'd rather have another gun for that price. Plus I made the mistake of telling my wife what Pfran42 had in his ARFcom signature at one point. Something like "I had a rifle, but it was too long, so I paid $200 to shorten it. Then it was too loud, so I paid $200 to add a suppressor and it was long again." So anytime I bring up the thought of a suppressor, she reminds me of this. #cantwin |

I like to think after I get my F1 and RC approved that the CQBR will be done more or less (until I decide to bankrupt myself with night vision and need a PEQ). But, who am I kidding? I always seem to find some new crap to buy for it.
Even if the CQBR is done, the Mod 0 certainly isn't... and if I get an NT4... then I'll probably want to build a CQBR to run it as well. Can't let the Mod 0 have all the NT4-awesomeness to itself. Or, maybe I'll get crazy... get an NT4, swap muzzle devices and run it on the current CQBR and on the Mod 0. After which, I can build a 10.3" URGI just for the RC... Good lord, the expensive options are endless! |

Ive never sold or purchased off armslist but it seems about on par with online sketchy as Craigslist is in person sketchy. So I don't think I'm going to start either

Happens so much now too. It's starting to get to the point that if you don't take PayPal F&F, then I'm taking 4% off just for my time. Im paying YOU money, and you want it some special way? Fuck off.When you're selling something on there and 19 out of every 20 contacts is a blatant scammer, you pretty much have no choice. Half the motherfuckers even use the same "scammer form letter", and I've also seen it used when I've listed on Craigslist in the past. I imagine them all sitting in some scammer call center run by the Russian mob or something, lol. They all speak in broken English, so it's probably not too far off. If it's on a site with feedback, sure I'll take Paypal; but, it's so easy to scam the seller using Paypal, it's almost as bad as taking a personal check or cashier's check on a scammer filled site like Armslist. I pretty much only accept USPS money orders on Armslist-esque sites because it can be verified multiple ways and is the least risky for the seller. |
