ETA:  What's the over/under for how long before someone gets arrested with these photo copied stamps?  The upside is I can put them in my dropbox account and access them with my phone.  

Anyone got a line on the refunds.
Mine was disapproved on 01/13.
I haven't heard anything back about a refund.

I'm waiting on mine from 1/11.

 

 

Check your credit card statement (online if you can). I had a couple form 1's that I fudged up (somehow forgot to put my city in box 3b) get disapproved and the refund to my cc was pretty quick. I want to say within a few days.

Somehow they waited till right at the 90 day mark to figure out they were going to disapprove

I triple checked the new form 1's I submitted last night and today. Hope I didn't fark it up again.

My refund took closer to 3 weeks to hit my CC

That's probably the first time an examiner got their eyes on it.

just submitted another form1 the site was super slow last night but this morning it was fast again, maybe they fixed it while I was asleep

Yes. I know my buddy got a 2 sentence explanation when his was denied.

Just out of curiosity being I have a few in the system, were they kicked back due to trust issues or the F1 itself?

Didn't include part of the trust (or maybe examiner couldn't find it since he split it into multiple parts)

Also had wrong model number of lower receiver.

Side question. For those of you disapproved, when you fix and resubmit do you wait the full 90+ days or go back to top of pile?

You have to wait 90 days again.

NFA tracker showed a few Oct 30 approvals yesterday........looks like another slow day today.  

I got one from Silencershop that was sent on 10/29. I haven't heard anything about it yet, but hopefully I will hear something soon.

None of them were efiles that I can see.  The weather is bad there.  Are they working?

Good morning registered eForms users:

For the past two weeks you have been experiencing various performance related issues while attempting to use eForm.  These issues have included slow response times, inability to finalize and submit forms, pay.gov screen not displaying, inability to select product types for some submissions, inability to view PDF’s, the system abruptly returning the user back to the home screen,  and some of you have not been able to log in at all.  While any of you have been able to successfully submit your eForms, others have not been able to get them out of your “Draft” folders.

First, we want to offer our sincere apology for what you are currently experiencing while using eForms.  The quality of eForms’ current performance is not indicative of the quality of performance that ATF strives to provide its customers.  We share your current frustrations and we want you to know that we are doing everything that we can to address these issues.  We continue to meet every day with “experts” in the field, and we are confident that we will soon find a solution.

We believe that eForms is a worthwhile investment for us, as well as for you, the firearms industry.  And we think that you feel the same. The statistics below are reflective of this week’s work (our eForms week is calculated from one Wednesday to the next for reporting purposes):

So, in spite of the performance issues, eForms is doing what it was designed to do.  It may be slower and it may be temperamental at times, but we believe it to still be a worthwhile investment.

So over 2k Eforms in the last week

That number seems lower than I thought it would be.

Why would it surprise you that they were lower, when they came in an email regarding the fact that many people can't successfully submit their eforms?

I still would like them to do efile for those of us not wanting to go get a trust done. I cant find a local lawyer even wanting to touch it when I explain why I want to do one.

You need to find an attorney that specializes in NFA trusts.  Any other attorney would have no clue.

I can tell you the answer though. Legal entities don't require fingerprints, photographs or CLEO signatures...

Kind of hard to do all of those electronically.

All of those could be scanned and my local pd only uses electronic fingerprinting.  In 2004 when I they fingerprinted me for the bar exam, they had to go looking for the ink pad in a storage closet.  

Hell they're sending us electronic copies of federal tax stamps, electronic fingerprints and signatures should be a problem.

The PSP does fingerprints electronically, and sends them to the FBI and DHS. They could be done once and kept on file with the ATF, and you can esign your tax return so that dog wont hunt.

And what is your solution for the CLEO signature, seeing as how the dealer has to submit the Form 4.

This happens at all hours throughout the day. Is anybody seeing the same thing? I've used different browsers and I'm seeing the same page.
