I have a colt SP1 that I believe the serial number puts the manufacturer date in 1973.

Would this be legal to transfer as a curio and relic firearm?

Well 50 years old is the cut off date, unless the law was changed and l missed it.

1973 was 51 years ago, so....

Got DAMN!  Was '73 actually   that long ago?!

Inserted the wrong emoji.

I was 13 in '73 and worked two jobs that summer.  One was digging ditches in southwest Nebr.  The other was kitchen aide at Boy Scout summer camp.

Still, one of the best summers of my life.
