For the fact that for the first time in my life in finding 45 Colt brass.

I have been reloading since early 1990s .

Just.about all the big bore stuff 44 mag 454,475,500 and 45 Colt in five shot conversions.

Was very big on 45acp also.

I have picked up brass and have found some oddball stuff in decent quantities.

7.63x25 mauser, 30 Luger . I have even found about.25.or 30 pieces of 38/45 Clerke I think it's called. 454Casull
Headstamped 45 Super and Detonics magnum 45 AR

I don't expect to ever find 475 or 500 Linebaugh

I have NEVER found one.case of 45 Colt.

Until recently. I have picked up a 100 or so of PMC.

How do I know it was from Judges?

Elementary Watson. I found about 50 2 1/ 2 inch AA 410 hulls and a few.of the buckshot.rounds.

The threw a nice patern with #9s too. Not sure how close they where to the target.

It's crazy how different locations vary like that. I once bought a bag of "mixed big bore" handgun brass that was super cheap since it was mostly unsorted. I bet 10% of that was 45 colt.

Could have been from rossi brawler. Be lucky to hit a clay a 10 yards, 12 yards might take all day.

I'm hope a mix of 45 colt and 410 shells foul the barrel enough to turn it into a smooth bore to be able to shoot clay at a distance.
