Having sold my MSAR years ago, Ive been missing having a bullpup.
Today, I picked up a barely used RDB 20" in FDE for $779! It was marked at $849 but the owner hooked me up on my birthday present to myself. Glad to be back! |

Bulldog Firearms in Rio Rancho. They had the same rifle, new, for $1049. The owner, Andrew, is a great guy. I'm looking at working there occasionally. |

The muzzle device situation sucks!
Why can't Kel-Tec just follow standards? I've bent wrenches trying to remove the flash hider and jam nut. I'm tempted to send it in and ask for it to be machined to standard thread length. JFC! |

View Quote Thats weird..Sounds like a problem with your wrenches..Dunno what you would expect Keltec to machine. Keltec..follow standards?...Keltec is known for doing their own thing..But the at least the thread pitch is 5/8x24. |

If Kel-Tec followed standards, they'd be Smith & Wesson, Ruger, or Taurus, copying Kel-Tec. |

View Quote Yeah, they're Silencerco multi tools that are thin enough, but not tough enough. 1/2x28 and .6 ish, with a crush washer, like an AR, would be nice. Can't find info on the web about the threaded length. |

View Quote So sorry! RDB. I fat fingered the typing. Got the FH Off with a little heat and a better wrench. Spun on an ASR brake with with the jam nut and mounted one of my Omega 300s. Time to hit some BLM land... |

Wooot! Have fun shooting.
Don't forget to catch a video on how to set the gas system |

Gas setting was pretty easy.
Malfunctions induced while setting were epic to clear. The recoil and counter recoil was interesting. The BCG travels a long way... |

RDB is easily in my top 2 or 3 rifles.
Really cool gun. Enjoy! |

I've seen them go for even less. Message being for those looking at used RDB's, be slow before paying $900 for one! The problem with used KelTek is you don't really get the lifetime warranty like you used to, and well, it's KelTek... That said - not trying to talk trash, I actually quite like the RDB and want one! |

View Quote Nice! I struggled on getting the FDE version but decided on ODG since my last 4 or 5 guns were FDE. Good looking blaster. |

No Jam Nut/Spacer needed. I run a Ferfrans Muzzle Brake with their CRD (Concussion Reduction Device) over it. Best device I have found for muzzle climb and recoil reduction "without" a lot of side blast.

I'd be really tempted, if I didn't just blow my gun budget for the foreseeable future on a Hellion, when the local surplus store announced they were getting out of the FFL business and dumping existing stock at their cost. Too good a deal to turn down. Hopefully we see the RDB deal again later. |

I was holding out for a green 20" but couldn't resist a tan 16" for $1195. |
