Nothing too special about this pair.  Just two of my favorite rifles.  The Socom II has a Eotech 553 mounted on an ultimak rail and the standard has a nikon monarch on a m14.ca scopemount.  The standard will have a sage ebr in a few months and the socom will eventually have a blackfeather rs along with some Smith Enterprise parts.  Love these guns!

Familiy Reunion for Mommys Birthday

The Mom: Winchester M14 S/N 1104xxx (born 62 or 63)
99% USGI (except for the SEI Muzzle brake. Need to get me an original FH)

The nasty brat daughter: Mossberg M590A1

The modest daughter: SIG 551 (with the stupid german non-threaded barrel. Makes it even more modest...)

The granddaughter: Glock 17

The baby: Glock 26

Here's my two:

1942 Winchester M1, it's a CMP Service Grade rifle

1943 Underwood M1 Carbine, also a CMP Service Grade and it's a Bavarian Rural Police and Austrian used gun and marked as such by both. Not to mention it's all early parts

Thought some might like to see an unissued M-1.  Some photos are with packing grease on and some after it was wiped off (I wish now that I didn't do this)

I "straw purchased" this for my son in utero, he can decide whether to fire it or not when he's an adult.

My new to me and first M1A... Springfield Armory Loaded.  Manufactured in 2003.  Fiberglass USGI stock.

Damn how I love this thing!  The sweetest iron sight rifle I've ever own.

In order mods:
1. Sadlak guide.
2. Sadlak TiN and Fulton Armory Pistons to experiment with.
3. Gas shim job.
4. USGI butt plate.
5. USGI Flash Hider with bayo lug.
6. Stock camo paint job: snake skin multicam.

So I have some updates…

New Flash Hider with Bayo Lug… I feel soooo dangerous now…

Also got a USGI butt plate… needed the shorter length of pull.

Internal Mods:
1. New Sadlak NM guide.
2. New Fulton Armory polished piston.  Sadlaks are on backorder until late Sept. 2013.
3. Shimmed gas system.

Porn shoots…

I was in the process of "growing a pair" in order to attempt the stock camo paint job, but suddenly I discovered this "diamond on the rough"… perfect checkering, no cracks, no major dings… just a hell lot of corrosion and rust stains!

The fit in my M1A is solid, just as the SAI refinished USGI stock.  Soon I'll return this stock to its glorious shape and will paint it in a snake skin camo pattern using the multicam shades…

Here are my two Polytech M14S.  Both have had a bolt conversion by Warbird.  Both are in VLTOR OD stocks with OD green Houge Grips.  SEI Bolt stop and Sadlak Mag latch on both.

This one has a SEI Good Iron Muzzle brake, HK Style front sight  and a VLTOR cluster rail:

This one has a Troy Rail, Midwest industries flip up sights and with the Springield Armory Cali Muzzle brake:

They are battle rifle accurate (no 1MOA shooters here), but probably capable of better accuracy than I can shoot with them.  Still have the original Chicom chromed barrels. Both have Pentax Gameseeker 3-9x50's on them right now (Yeah, I know, give me a break.)

I'm using the light weight M14.ca Blackfeather "RS" with their scout hand guard.

Old Fisher Inc./SEI DC-M14 suppressor with SEI Wind Talker upgrades.

Wow! Actually shooting your guns!  Neat!  You must have friends.  Or at least a good tripod.

We do lots of that here in CA, even with all the dumb restrictions.

Our target out there somewhere

My SAI M1A.

Springfield says she left the factory as receiver only in 5/80.  TRW parts with a SAK National Match barrel.  All GI.  Picked her up a a local gun store in 2005 with 5 mags, a spare stock with cheek rest (Garand cheek rest), hard case, Springfield Gen 3 scope mount and a Bushnell 3 x 9 for $800.  She sits in an oversized walnut stock, and is not currently glass bedded.  She was built to shoot, and that she does.

Gentlemen:  Charlene.
