Finally loaded some subsonic ammo to run through my SDN-6 on the Mini-6.8 SPC.  It is rediculously quiet.  Check out the video of shooting a plate in the backyard.  I couldnt really test the accuracy in the yard but it was easily minute-of-squirrel at 25 yds.

Paid a visit to my suppressor in NFA Jail.

After I finish my Degree (and get LASIK in the winter) , with hard work and the right mindset, I can go the BUD/S route and eventually get issued one of these bad boys instead of having to pay out of pocket.

Nice gun and can.

Do some research on the lasik.  When I was in, lasik was a disqualifier for a bunch of warfare areas, including aviation and specops as I recall.  There are other options, I had PRK.

This may have changed, just be careful.

Don't ask a recruiter for the service, ask a recruiter for the job.  LASIK is a nogo.  PRK iirc is the one you want.  You can't have the surgery that involves opening a flap in your eye.  Actually you can for most jobs, just not anything involving airborne or air assault, at least in the Army.  But thats why I say don't ask the recruiter.   Min told me any type is fine, but thats because he was never interested in a job where thats not the case.  The SF recruiter cleared it up for me and kept me from f'ing myself.

Also, I have the 7.62 version of that can.  It's awesome, totally worth the wait.

Lol I got the idea from a picture I saw a while ago of Buzz with some gun part, wish I could find it to give credit to the person that inspired me.

This is my .308 deer rifle.  Going on yr 3 with it.  Hunting suppressed is legal in my state, so naturally, I do that.  I had the barrel cut to 18" (although I would have gone 16.25" just for the hell of it) and threaded. With suppressor attached, the OAL is 40"........about the exact length of my 20" Rem 700 with no suppressor.....and the can adds 8.25 inches to length.  Short, handy, and suppressed was the goal, and a single action was the answer.  Im still playing with scopes and mounts and will probably go to Zeiss along with a EGW base.  The Encore rifles tend to put you too close to the scope, so you have to get them as far fwd as you can.  Talley mounts are nice, but dont allow you to go fwd enough.

I have almost NO experience when it comes to the 308 AR platform rifles, but this one has been amazing to me. eats up cheap steal case ammo all day. totally reliable even after a couple hundred rounds of cheap ammo suppressed.
