That would be a Trijicon RMR adjustable LED model.

Not trying to derail the thread. I've never fired .223 subs before. Curious why they wouldn't do for a home defense round?

They won't cycle the action, so you'd effectively have a single shot HD rifle.

Really slow moving .22 bullets aren't a great option.

Plus the fact that you're dropping close to 2000 FPS from the rounds for a marginal improvement in sound. From my perspective, if you already have a suppressor on the weapon, the rounds will be "hearing safe" enough, but it would be madness to sacrifice the terminal ballistics and reliability of the weapon to do so.

Finally got my Sakar approval: 11 months....
The mount was missing, Silencershop is going to send one when it's back in stock, I went ahead and ordered a Trifecta mount and here it is:

Edit:
went and shot it today, 2/23/2014. On of off, the point of impact really didn't change.

I'm happy with it: it sounds like a quiet 22 lr rifle and you can shoot it without hearing protection. I didn't try it wet.

The first target is with Sakar in place, Aimpoint is a bit bright so group is a bit large.
Middle target is with Aimpoint turned down a bit sharpening the dot for my old eyes, Sakar is off.
Third target is with Sakar back on, sharp dot.

All shot with my reloads, all at 38 yards on a bag rest.

This! Plus the fact that I kinda want someone to know I'm shooting at them in a home defense situation. I've fired my 10.5" sbr with a mini4 suppressor out of the back door from inside of my home just to see what I would dealing with in the unlikely event of a home defense situation. While it's not something id do without hearing protection by choice it was manageable compaired to an unsuppressed ar.

I see no reason to shoot unsupressed again

Be careful! I was working my loads down, checked barrel after each shot and everything was fine. My powder trickler has a fair vairance between pours so I decided to load one at 75% (my variance is only about 10%, but wanted to be sure even the highest error wouldnt result in a kaboom).  Fired fine but didnt load a new round. Tried one at 60% and this happened. At least now I know.

Your powder charges vary by 10%? That's the difference between starting and max loads.

5744 does not meter well at all for me. By 10% i mean 5% on both sides, but I agree, a large variance nonetheless. I load ~10.2 grains and I get everything from 9.6-10.7 sometimes. With finer grains its a great deal more accurate, but for subsonic purposes, so long as I stay above 6 grains It'll exit the barrel. I doubt it'll spit out a 40% difference that I won't notice.

I've been meaning to get a different sub powder but availability is scarce and I can't just not shoot it, so going slow and double checking is fine with me.
