Have of my 3 dry tumblers going putting the bling on 1k of 9mm 115 gr seconds Nukes from RMR. Visually nothing wrong with them except they were dull colored. So I'm putting the bling on them. |

Made up about 110 of my standard Hornady 55 SPBT + TAC loads in “other” brass (brass that’s not LC/PMC/Win). This load is great, shoots accurate in almost every rifle in misc headstamp brass with a cheap bullet, inexpensive ball powder and Wolf primers!
I save up “others” from my batch runs of brass until I have enough to load ~100 or more at a time. I don’t use my AutoTrickler, just my Hornady powder drop. Goes fast! -ZA |

The last few pieces of brass I was trimming last night started to kind of get stuck every five rounds. I thought something was out of adjustment, I adjusted a few things, and finally called it a night. I decided today that, maybe it was time to clean the shell plate. As I was swabbing it down, I found that one of the areas that the rim goes in, had a stainless pin bent into it. Apparently, my pins are the same size as a 223 rim. Pulled that out, put it back together and finished my 223 brass. Looked in the case feeder and there were a few more pins in there.
A good reminder that if something doesn't suddenly feel right (normal), it probably isn't. |

Puttering in the new brass processing cave.
It’s getting pretty close to being ready for processing. Have 444 marlin tumbling outside to get dust out of tumbler. I have way to much crap for someone who loads so few calibers. |

Received my factory second primers from American Reloading yesterday. Advertised as having hard cups but within NATO spec.
Loaded 100 in .45acp tonight to test. Once I get the Square Deal switched over I'll load some 9mm. Hopefully they'll work ok in my striker fired 9s other wise they'll be for hammer fired 45s or worst case, AR9. |

Last 2 days finished decapping that bucket of 45 ACP brass.
Today emptied 3 wet tumblers of 45 brass, and refilled. They are drying on top of the wood stove. Emptied 3 dry tumblers and refilled. Have 3k of 115 gr Nike's to get blinged. |

Set it up for 6.0grns of WIN244, 158grn jacketed round nose from American Reloading. Ran ~130 through it and then it went POP on the downstroke. The frame cracked entirely through. A quick phone call to Dillon Precision and they gave me an RMA number and said they'd replace the press. Just got it apart and back into the original box for return. This press was serviced by Dillon a couple years ago, and I just lubed/greased it up and replaced bushings a month a month ago. View Quote 14 days from mailing the press is back up and running. They replaced the frame and a few other parts at no charge. Time to load up more 357mag. |

Tumbled a couple hundred each of .300 BLK and 6.5mm Grendel brass. Sorted and stored several hundred .223 REM cases. Did some sanding on my reloading bench and then filled in the weed screw countersunk head with wood filler. wood. Started researching 6.6mm Grendel load data for 123 grain fmj for the range and something poly-tipped for expansion, like the Hornady SST, for example.

Reloading night with Shooter709. Last 5.56 sizing night, so about 20K sized. Crimps already swaged, so now it's trimming time. |

Wet tumbled some 223 brass. I might have overloaded it, not run it long enough or be expecting more. It isn’t as shiny as expected. Two 45 ACP cases of Lemishine, a healthy squeeze of Dawn and they’re not spectacular bright.
Tumbler weighed 7.2 kg before I removed some brass because the first tumbling didn’t seem to allow much tumbling. |
