Great time for TV back then, Banshee, First Strike, and then I think no long after, Black Sails..... those three shows set the standard for fun, and, in the case of Hairy muff, Black Sails,
Hell on Wheels was a in the same class too. Holy shit, Main dude on that show is Captain Pike on Star Trek Brave New Worlds...... |

So I signed up for Cinemax through Amazon to watch Strike Back, watch 5 episodes, then it goes to having to buy the rest even though I have the Cinemax membership.

Banshee and Strike Back were both good series. Unfortunate they were on Cinemax as 90% of the sex scenes just felt out-of-place and forced.
My biggest gripe with Banshee was the fact that they ran that Sheriff's department like a PD when it supposedly takes place in Pennsylvania. PA is the one state in the union where Sheriff's are only officers of the court (with few exceptions) and don't have police powers outside of the court so to see Sheriff Deputies running around acting like police was annoying as a PA native. |
