I always liked Luiz.  Pretty dead ball striker for set pieces, too.  Though, so is Willian.

Luiz is Brazilian and plays for Chelsea.  That's the double whammy for me...can't stand the guy.

Or Willian.  Or Oscar.   I'm sure the list goes on.

Chelsea have looked very strong thus far. ManU have been playing exponentially better than last season. Leicester have looked mediocre. West Ham has been a totally different team. City has been nothing short of impressive. Arsenal and Spurs will be an interesting development. Both usually take a bit to get up and going, IIRC. Boro and Burnley have been impressive.

It's going to be an interesting season!

Yes.   PSG didn't want to sell, he told them he wanted to leave and that was enough to convince them to go ahead and let him go.

If anything, Ligue 1 is going to be much tighter (and more fun to follow) this year. PSG isn't going to be running away with it again by any means.

Conte wanted Bonucci or Chiellini from Juve, but Max Allegri wasn't giving either one up.  Definitely not a typical Conte defender, but this may be Conte's introduction to Abramovich's ownership style.

He got away with a takedown a couple of years ago vs Rooney when he had a yellow already.

Did the Brazilian Flop and got Rafael red carded, then looked at the camera and laughed. He is a piece of shit.
And a part of a larger issue that is part of the derision for the game in the US. Embelishment.

Zlatan will torture him.

If he was any good PSG would have kept him.

Picque with stupid hair.

True, but you can't score if you aren't attempeing.

Reminds me of the Raul Merelas goal he scored from the same area, about 4 years ago.

Same, nonchalant swing at the ball, and " let's see where this goes," attitude.

Either. I'll try to drop Carrol and Fuchs and their jerseys turn transparent then I try to add Ibrahomovic and it shows him on the field but the make transfers button doesnt turn purple and there is a little circle with a slash next to the cursor.

But if I try to drop people and hit the auto complete thing it does.

Try it in a different browser?  You can also send them a message under the "help" button if nothing else works.

Figured out the transfer issue.

You always have to have a full team so selling  off a midfielder and a forward cannot buy you just a striker.

The Mobile app actually explains it

Ah, I didn't even think of that angle.

Glad EPL is back this weekend...especially since after a good week one, college football is a bunch of hot garbage for week two.

DVRd it just ended.

Fuck.

Decent match, Clattenberg sucks, Mikhatarian was underwhelming,.

MU did not look sharp, 50-50 balls lost to frequently.

Ibrah had some good chances to draw.

Not a happy supporter, not at all.

Much better 2nd half, but.... Fuck City.

It's great to see Liverpool playing exciting football again.  3-1 late in the game and they're still pressing for more.  Haven't seen that the last couple years.  We really do need to keep the ball on the feet of our offensive players, where the talent of this team lies.  I have no confidence in our D.

it's immaterial but the referee got that call wrong.  under the laws of the game, an opposing player can not enter into the box before the ball *leaves* the box and is "in play".

http://www.90min.com/posts/3759448-howard-webb-explains-why-jamie-vardy-s-goal-against-liverpool-should-have-been-disallowed

that said, it doesn't excuse Lucas' idiotic attempt to pull the ball back while facing his own goal.  and next, having lost control, what he should have done was dinked the ball over the end line.  while giving up a corner, it's a better plan than blindly squaring the ball across the middle in the hope that one of your team mates would be there.
