You are paying for the "oohs" and "aahs" that everyone will make when they walk it out to your table. Then you will probably dismantle it, eat most parts separately, and take half of it home for later.
Unless your mouth is actually big enough to get all of that in at once. |

I make mine simple but better than any restaurant I've been to. 1/2 lb beef, coated in olive oil, salt and pepper. Cook barely 1 and a half minute per side at 800 degrees and done. Perfect to me. |

I paid $22 for a cheeseburger in the Bahamas. I didn't get asked what I wanted on it or how I wanted it cooked. It was however one of the burgers that I have ever eaten. Total bill for 2 cheeseburgers, 2 sides of fries and 6 beers was $90. The owner/cook/bartender was drunk and stoned. I can't wait to go back.

Looks good.
Just wanted to remind everyone that there is a burger that exists where the buns are each actually grilled cheese sandwiches, and then the actual burger is in the middle. It's called the double coronary bypass and is made at Vortex. The only bad thing is, you have to venture into Atlanta to get to either location. |

Some people ask if they can, when they should be asking if they should.

For me, it's the McChicken. The best fast food sandwich. I even ask for extra McChicken sauce packets and the staff is so friendly and more than willing to oblige.
One time I asked for McChicken sauce packets and they gave me three. I said, "Wow, three for free!" and the nice friendly McDonald's worker laughed and said, "I'm going to call you 3-for-free!". Now the staff greets me with "hey it's 3-for-free!" and ALWAYS give me three packets. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere at my local McDonald's restaurant, I go there at least 3 times a week for lunch and a large iced coffee with milk instead of cream, 1-2 times for breakfast on the weekend, and maybe once for dinner when I'm in a rush but want a great meal that is affordable, fast, and can match my daily nutritional needs. I even dip my fries in McChicken sauce, it's delicious! What a great restaurant. |

If you ever find yourself in Clearfield, PA, this place is awesome.
https://dennysbeerbarrelpub.com/burger-challenges/ My brother and I have our pictures on the wall here, but it was only the 2lb challenge. Their regular sized burgers are delicious; this was more of a chore than fun, haha. Before phones had cameras, so no irl pics :( |

I tend to be in agreement with most here. That burger is ridiculous. There is no need for lettuce and tomato on a burger!
Also, it’s way too big. |

Meh. Looks like someone vomited between two pretzel buns.
The older I get - the more I like a simple burger. Perfect burger is either: A. One patty or fairly thin hand patted cooked fairly well with some bark on it + a little salt and a whole lot of black pepper + diced or sliced onion + iceberg lettuce + mayo with optional yellow mustard on a soft sesame seed bun or slices of white bread. OR B. One patty or fairly thin hand patted cooked fairly well with some bark on it + a little salt and a whole lot of black pepper + diced or sliced onion + ketchup & yellow mustard on slices of white bread. Overloaded gourmet burgers don't get it. I've tried them and the clashing tastes always disappoint. |

Overly melted cheese on a burger is a mortal sin. You are correct, but I come unglued on my guys over cheese that’s not melted at all. No need to some and steam it, just lay it on as soon as you flip. It’ll be perfect. |
