Looks like SB Tactical has their brace approved. Then proceeded to make other braces based on the same brace but attaches to different guns. Because it is logical as the function and core design never changed from the approved version.
But now ATF wants a separate approval for every type of firearm the brace will be attached to? Pants on head retarded. |

First off fuck the ATF.
Still this has been a known thing for a long time. The reason I went with the Tailhook Mod 2 over the SBA3 was that SB didn't have a letter. Also using a normal buffer tube was already ruled not good. This might end up jamming up manufactures who sold factory firearms with brace that were never submitted to the ATF. Fuck the ATF, but SB Tactical didn't do anyone any favors. |

Fuck I hate shooting bare buffer tubes. Not that it's going to matter once they outlaw everything else attached to the tube.
 It'll be a tragedy that all my AR's will be lost in a boating accident by then but I'll miss shooting them. I remember when I first saw an AR pistol with a Shockwave brace. "That can't be legal." That didn't take long. |
