Tornado sirens are tested daily here at 1159 and I can hear them clear as day. It is so windy out that I can barely hear them going off at the moment.

Damn, stay safe Mayfield area people. I am in West TN north of Jackson. Will post updates as long as I can, until we go in tornado shelter.

Damn, looked like tornado went through downtown Mayfield, or just south. Last Twitter report I found was a large tornado near Mayfield High School.

Per WKYT's Chris Bailey, Mayfield just hit by a devastating tornado, storm still intensifying.

Meteorologist on Channel 6 out of Paducah is just astonished by what he's seeing on radar. He said he's never seen a signature like this in that area in his 40 years. And that area has seen lots of tornadoes over the years. That is just a textbook radar presentation. It looks like something you'd see from a high end supercell in Oklahoma during May, not over Kentucky in December. But it happens sometimes, these out of season outbreaks.
