I enjoyed buying and selling cars since I was a teen. Sold cars as a profession. Was a curbstoner on the side for years. Owned a lot of different cars.
Never had a Datsun Z of any style. Always wanted one. What car did you miss out on? |

Acura nsx. Was my dream car since I was a kid. Now they sell for absolutely pants on head retarded money for a 300hp Honda.

When I was a kid (1970s) there were a lot of cars that I hated that I would now love to have. Karman Ghia would be at the top of that list.

That is very simple, been wanting a 911 for many years, will get one down the road for sure,
But @JLPettimoreIII knows what he is talking about , that is the finest 4X4 ever made |

Most of these I missed the boat on because either I found one locally and it got snatched up or in general the market went insane or decent examples all but disappeared (or some combination of the two).
Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 GMC Syclone E60 M5 B8 RS4 C6 S6 928 850 Celica GT-S Legacy 2.5 GT There's a pile of older stuff I used to lust after but gave up after Mecum's and Barrett Jackson ruined that market with overpricing everything. |

I always wanted the 60s and early 70s Mustangs and Camaros. I'm on a different tack now tho. I'm over those old cars that have always been out of my grasp financially. I'd rather have a new one now. I don't have to work on it constantly and everything works better.

Would like a new 392 challenger or charger while they are still in production. Sad to see them go without being able to afford one. One day maybe a used one, but would have been nice to have something that hasn’t been beaten on.

I passed because it was an auto. I didn't have any strong desire to own it either. I do regret passing up a neighbors offer to sell an 89 4Runner. It had a fresh 22re long block but wasn't being driven because of a fuel leak. I wanted to work on my project 91 Explorer Sport instead, which I no longer have. In contrast I would have kept that 4Runner to this day. |

I always wanted a Duramax-powered Corvette. That dream faded as I got older, and then I heard from someone else with the same eclectic tastes in vehicles that the Duramax V8 doesn't fit inside a Corvette's engine bay.

*** on second thought, I can’t believe I said that out loud. |

911, without hesitation. Had posters, toys, models, etc.
Same thing for Ducatis. I loved them, even though I grew up riding Hondas. I ended up getting two Ducatis once I grew up. I was on the verge of buying a 911 but I bought a second house instead. |

Same answer every time 1969 Camaro ZL1 or 1969 Camaro Z28 with JL8 four wheel disc brakes, cross ram intake and factory supplied headers in the trunk. Fold down rear seat option would be nice too.

Seller wanted $10K, but we had a lot of competing wants and needs as a married couple and I let it go. Still pains me. About five years later I let an absolutely pristine - unmolested - panhead with a tank slapper go, mostly because I already had one Harley and the military was moving us around a lot. It was sitting in the window of a pawn shop in Niceville, Florida, and the owner put it back on the road and wrecked it not long afterwards. Two of my grails I let slip through my fingers. |

I bought both of my current “dream” cars within 8 months of each other.
Gen 2 Raptor. Cobb tuned. 2019 Mustang Bullitt edition - purchased yesterday. Pick up Wednesday. 3900 original miles on it. Bullitt green, magna ride suspension, Recaros. So fairly rare package in the ~3500 that were built. Down the road I’ll get a Raptor R and a GT500. Edit: Also have a 2021 F350 Lariat dually. Because this is arfcom. Get all of them. |

Early 2000’s Viper GTS. When they were $40,000-$60,000 I couldn’t afford one. Now they $70,000-$100,000+. I could buy one now just fine but I just don’t think they’re really worth that much.

When I was a teenager I wanted a 5.0 Mustang more than I wanted to breathe.
Joined navy and could now afford one but the appeal went away. I was nearly the only one in the barracks parking lot that didn’t have a teenager dream car of some flavor or another. The 10 year old Ranger I had at the time is now 32 years old and still in my garage |

There's so little parts remaining, any problem may not be fixable. https://cdn.carbuzz.com/gallery-images/840x560/558000/200/558234.jpg View Quote Attached File I am in this picture.
