Things when we do when we're bored at home.

I just measured the thickness of a shed whisker from my black cat.  Using a vintage Brown & Sharpe barrel micrometer, I got the following measurements:

.0152" at the base, similar to a sheet of heavy paper.

.0001" at tip.  That's one ten-thousandth of an inch.
