Milla Jovovich First, the gun stuff: From: Anonymous Date: 8/9/2002 A New York Metro article about her: Don't be surprised to find Milla Jovovich joining NRA president Charlton Heston at a gun-rights rally. After several months of combat training to prepare for her role as a zombie killer in Resident Evil, a new sci-fi movie based on the popular video game, the starlet has a newfound affinity for firearms and has become a regular at her local Los Angeles shooting range. "I love guns," she told us while signing autographs at Planet Hollywood in Times Square last week. "I just get such a sense of power. The karate and kickboxing was okay, but give me a gun and I can do serious damage." She doesn't have her own gun yet, but may get one soon: "A handgun, obviously -- I mean, the machine guns are a little heavy and complicated." View Quote What degree of hard comes after diamond? |

I know of several NHL players that are big gun guys. My dad's neighbor is a retired NHL player and they shoot together frequently. Sometimes his old teammates stop by to visit and fire a few rounds. |

A repeat customer of mine is a famous chef in Cali. He made it to the last couple rounds on a season of Top Chef and was on a couple of their related programs.
Probably a member here too, based upon his purchases. I only realized it after my wife was watching a cooking show that he was on. Checked the tail of his email to his website, yep it was him. I've sold mags to a couple other celebrities like that, probably several others that I don't recognize since I don't pay attention to Hollywood stuff or who is who. |

Eric Clapton is into high end shotguns from top British makers. There was a news story about him a few years ago when he auctioned off a bunch for charity. He is also co-owner of a hunting and fish supply store in London.

I think Dave Grohl (Nirvana, Foo Fighters) is a gun guy. Doubtful. He is a big supporter of the Democrats (let Gore use one of his songs in the presidential campaign) but I suppose it could happen. He's into skeet shooting, I know that. So maybe he's a Biden kinda gun guy. And there are plenty of Democrat gun owners; this is a "who is a firearm enthusiast" question, not "who is a conservative/liberal". There's a lot of overlap, but it's not black & white. |

You know, tyrants always disarm the people. It's one of the reasons why we have guns in the US and it's hard for people that don't live there to understand that but it's a big part of the culture. The founding fathers put the second amendment there to defend themselves against the tyrannical government, not against somebody that might break in your house. I meant that's a nice little aside but that's not why we have guns. It's against the criminal government because these guys knew history. The people in the States have been manipulated and taken away what from what it really means to be Americans, you know? I mean it's not supposed to be an empire, it's supposed to be a land of peace and prosperity and freedom and guns actually help to stay free. " - Jon Schaffer View Quote |
