This is not a problem and happens.
Get a magnamatic front sight tool and move the post. The drum will easily accommodate that distance. Or, get an adjustable windage rear sight. They were used by RPKs. With this, you keep the front post centered, and the rear notch moves. This will preserve a centered sight picture. link |

Sweet maybe PSA can make a custom AK receiver.
@Palmettostatearmory Josiah, can we haz custom AK receiver? Also, OP, it's an AK. You're not supposed to use iron sights. You're supposed to crouch behind cover with it held high above your head while vigorously pulling the trigger and waving it around. |

This will give a starting point if you don't want Century, herrr, I mean PSA fing with your gun.
I'd give them a chance. But if you got skills, you can probable do it better. But warranty and all. Failed To Load Title |

Honestly, as a long time PSA fan, I have been let down as well.
I bought the $269 pistol kit. It came with two takedown pins, and no pivot pin. Instead of returning it, I ordered another LPK , and explicitly told them why. I got two more takedown pins. They gave zero fucks, and I could not even get a reply to my multiple emails. Forget about anyone answering the phone... Just this past Saturday, I brought my self built PSA10 to the range just to test fire it. It wont go into battery. At first look, it appears that my PSA PA10 bolt carrier cam pin is hitting the inside of my PSA PA10 upper receiver. I haven't had a chance to dig into it yet. Personally, I think they should be servicing the guns they already make before trying to corner EVERY market in the firearms world. |

So it's completing with all the canted sight WASRs sold in the past.

Let's see... I'm a happy Toyota owner so good there. I've only had one car loan in my life so pretty much match that one. A10's from Lewis/McChord used to fly over my house during training exercises when I was a kid so I've been a huge fan of them since grade school. I've got a few PSA lowers and their KS47 that I've been quite happy with. This is the first time I've had to deal with their customer service and I'm wildly disappointed. Been a fan of Toyota for a long time. Don't own one at the moment but I probably should. I did buy my last car with cash. The A10 is a decent plane, but not the best ever in my book. And so far the only thing I have bought from PSA that I was unhappy with was a Wilson Combat part that didn't fit properly and PSA refunded the order promptly. |

Are we going to get some awesome rollmarks out of this thread?

Meh. I have one of their AKs. It's fine as far as AKs goes.
I did adjust the sight with my sight pusher. I can ring steel at 300 with it. That's fine accuracy for an AK in my opinion. Minute of bad guy at 300. |
|
I've owned 2 AKs and shot only a couple others and they were ALL crooked crap with front posts offset inside the front site hood and crooked ass barrels.
I chalked it up to AK problems and never made the mistake of purchasing another one of the pieces of shit ever again. |
|
I get parts from PSA, not complete rifles. I was thinking about getting one of their AKs though. You might have to fix the front sight yourself and move on.

Meh.
I get it but meh. Every time these threads come up it always feels so minor compared to things in the past or what other companies have done. |

Not sure why someone would choose PSA with all the great AK manufacturers putting out good stuff. Also, you get what you pay for

Did you even try to zero the rifle? Do you even know how to properly zero an AK? Some can’t on the front sight tower is acceptable. As long as the rifle will zero properly.
That’s “Milspec”. |

I thought ive read where people did that to some century arms guns with a canted fsb. I dont see why it wouldnt i a vice with a rubber mallet View Quote Something has to bend for the sight to cant over though Its either going to be the barrel pin or the FSB pins More than likely they just beat the front post around since its adjustable side to side |

They make a tool that you can use to adjust the front sight, not all AKs have the front sight centered
