Mournfully, I didn't get to go on the fishing trip, but I did get a hunk of tuna at the Larry Keel show last night.

That is way more better than what I was imagining
I hope to God that fish is still flaky and pink inside. |

2nd post nailed it. You know that stuff tastes like fish, right?
What did your husband eat? |

Whomever left their special sauce on that fish needs to see a doctor….

|
Would have been better raw with a little soy sauce and sushi rice...

Quoted: Throw haddock in. but yeah, and it comes with tartar sauce not whatever hipster faggotry OP put on his tunafish. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'd eat the tuna-it just isn't fish and chips. Not fish & chips. Maybe a little overcooked.
I'd still get down on that plate!! Good job! |

There was a chain restaurant in Indianapolis when I was a teen called Arthur Treachers Fish & Chips. I loved eating there.
Had a girl I was dating at the time from Brownsburg that wanted to go there often on date night. |

Quoted: Tuna looks way over-cooked. View Quote I'm not one to go on and on about wanting my steak blue and my fish raw, but in my experience, tuna tastes better to me with a hard sear on each side and you can see pink/red around the edges/through the middle. The first few times I cooked it, I went by what temp it was supposed to be and it looked like that in the OP and tasted like I pulled it out of a can. I do love me some tuna nigiri or spicy tuna roll, hold them damn crunchy shits. |

Quoted: OP, I have no clue what that sewer catch is that you pictured but this is fish & chips https://tornadoughalli.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/FISH-AND-CHIPS2.jpg View Quote That looks tasty. This is how it should be done. |

So fucking hate you right now!
So many hours away from the coast. What used to be an everyday occurrence is now a reserved specialty. Vita bene vixit. |

The chips look look like potato chips, not thick, what I call fries. Fish and chips is acktchually fried, or baked if done properly, fish and very fucking thick french fries. |
