Glad to see your shitty kitty is doing well. Ours went to kitty heaven. Don't quite know what happened. Eating, shitting and seemed to be peeing ok. Fed her and got her to shit, played with her a bit. She was very mobile and zipping around the house. Put her in the basket and she was dead when we went to check on her after a couple hours. Shitty. That's too bad! How old was she? Not sure. She was very young though. |

It happens that way a lot with kittens. You tried though. and you gave her love and a good warm home. Too bad though. Poor kitteh, points for trying at least, as said you gave her love and a chance. |

View Quote Damn dude, I'm sorry. From what my vet told me, you can do everything right with them, and there's still a good chance they just won't make it. I figured mine had a 50/50 shot and just tried to keep her happy, safe, and comfortable. It sounds like you did just that, which is all you could really do. She was lucky to have that quality time with you. |

So, did the vet confirm the she really is a "she"? Haha, yes. She is and will continue to be a female...I assume she self identifies as one as well. Too bad. With that arrow on her head, you could have called her Archer. http://i68.tinypic.com/21erryd.jpg That's the mark of Mary. Don't see an M. Looks like an arrow to me. I see the symbol of a phoenix. Seems to fit the personality of the wee beastie. |

Is that a male or female she's cuddling with? |

Well OP you started this thread asking for help with a name.
That was two months ago and you still haven't told us the name. Certainly you've picked one by now. |

I couldn't settle on a name and was not planning on keeping her, so I was not eager to name her and get even more attached. My girlfriend and mom started calling her Poppet, which she responds to, so I decided to keep it. Also, I've decided to keep her, as she is very close with both of my males and my dog...and makes me laugh my ass off nonstop. http://giftrending.com/public/upload/gifs/14741490241474148998.gif View Quote Awesome... |

I found a kitteh like that one time sitting on the spare tire up under my truck. Named him lug nut. I'm partial to punkin for yours.

I went out of town 2 weeks ago and my wife adopted a kitten.
The 2 resident cats are accepting it as one of their people. They even play with him, unless we see them playing then they run away. The little goober was sleeping on my chest today, fell off and landed on the couch cushion about 18 inches below (i was sitting up). He didnt wake up, just laid there. |

Good to hear an update. Its good that the older cat has clearly decided the punk kitten is cool and is acceptable.

Quoted: Quoted: Got a call at the office yesterday that a friend of a friend found a very young orphaned kitten sitting in front of his shop. Her mom had been killed and she needed to be rescued, so off I went. When I got there, I found the smallest kitten I've ever seen, and the consensus seems to be that she's around 10 days old. She needs to be bottle fed every four hours, around the clock, for the next week or so. Three of us have adjusted our schedules to make sure she has care around the clock through next week. We need a name for her and I am hoping GD can help. We think she looks like a mini lion, so if possible, we'd like to take that into consideration with her name. Also, any tips on helping a tinyyyyy orphaned kitten would be appreciated as we all have cat experience, but not this young. She's currently on 2tsp of KMR every four hours. http://i63.tinypic.com/2uggl0x.jpg http://i67.tinypic.com/1z4iwx2.jpg http://i64.tinypic.com/2q1zdrd.jpg http://i65.tinypic.com/118gej8.jpg http://i64.tinypic.com/2u543gg.jpg http://i68.tinypic.com/2qnqlww.jpg http://i65.tinypic.com/258ba06.jpg |

Her name has finally been set as Pickles and the name tag is on the way. She is growing super quickly and has the most energy I've ever seen in my life. She's unbelievably playful and is always up to no good. http://giftrending.com/public/upload/gifs/14762878691476287797.gif http://a63.tinypic.com/24est5j.jpg View Quote congrats on your new Feline Overlord settling in |

Great job on saving her.
As for the name if it's anything like mine you'll soon be calling her "what are you doing!" |

My sister had a kitten that would attack. any. thing. that. moved. Open your eyes in the morning? ATTACK! Move your toes under the blanket? ATTACK! Yawn? ATTACK!
Named her PITA. Pain In The Ass. |

Aah yes little one... Part of the price you pay for being born a little lion instead of a big one is that occasionally The Food Guy makes you wear stupid shit.
Persevere and later tonight you can cough hairballs in his shoes. |

Paybacks for eating my hair in the middle of the night. Like, actually biting and eating my hair. Then wakes me up at 3am on the dot every morning.
