I'm not entirely comfortable counting DS9 as a Trek series.

Consider one line by the Sisko: "Computer, delete that entire log entry."

That is totally out of character for any other Trek show.

I never took DS9 as a serious Trek series. I may go back and watch it though, every couple of years I sit down and watch ALL of the StarTrek episodes and then go into "the next generation" and watch all of those, and then I'm good for a while. Voyager was, ok.. The original and the next generation were excellent though! DS9 was....meh.

Oh and to answer the OP question, it's obvious you num nuts,

You could make the argument that Captain Janeway is the best villain of star trek.

Opposite kinda. Her husband kept pushing for a three way which she didn't want. He was iirc a republican organizer or something. She got tired of his bullshit and filed for divorce. Broke his dumbass heart and he couldn't pull his weight come time to work.

Jeri Ryan's husband was the U.S. Senator from Illinois.

He resigned following the unsealing of their divorce records by a judge during his reelection campaign, allowing an unknown community organizer named Barack Obama to win the election unopposed.

OP, I disagree.  Gul Dukat is my favorite villain also, but the Borg Queen is the greatest villain.

The Borg Queen was an interesting character, but at the same time, she wrecked most of what made the Borg so scary and different and threatening.

She played Jason Mellon's love interest.  Thornton's love interest was Sally Kellerman.

Did you know she was Cat in the pilot for the US version of Red Dwarf?  It didn't get picked up.

No she did not

She played Thornton's son Jason's love interest.....

Hot Lips Houlihan (MASH the movie) played Thornton's love interest

I'd have to agree.  The character was well developed, well written and well acted.

He was consistently good throughout the entire series.

DS9 B5 probably had the best writing of all ST TV series.

Great thread OP and agree 100%. Dukat was an excellent villan.

I'd give a very close 2nd place to the Borg Queen, as a couple people mentioned.

Also, as others said Garak was a great character as well. One of my favorites.

And DS9 Trek is, indeed, best Trek.

That right there is a crime against nature.

Jennifer Lien was never hot like Jeri Ryan or Jolene Blalock but she was damn cute and how she degenerated into that I have no idea except untreated mental illness.
