Picked up a 420 of XM193 at wally world the other day, just because. It'll go nicely with the other 5k I've got on hand.

Bought a 420 round can from PSA (free shipping) & 1000 rounds of Privi xm855 from . . . CTD! Oh no - the devil!

Both were bought 2 weeks ago at "pre-panic" prices for my own ammo fort. No neckbearding here.

I know - F CTD - but was so happy with the Greek .303 I bought last month I figured what the hell.

But I got it as advertised in less than a week.

~5700. 193, 855 and some FGMM

I was low and didn't want to risk not being able to shoot the rest of the year if the real neck beards started another ammo drought.

None will be sold and all was purchased at pre panic prices. Its also about 1/3rd of what I would shoot this year had the salad days continued.

All of this perpetual 'panic' is infuriating to me, it completely screws the younger guys and the guys new to the AR platform, people like me who've been into the AR since the early 80's have been able to amass substantial ammo reserves and we sit out the scares but the new guys, you get raped. The glory day of the South African battle packs in big brown tubs, cheap Malaysian M193, case upon case of Wolf, and Winchester Q3131A at $140/1k are long gone. This sport is getting pushed to the cliff, why worry about going after the firearms if there's no ammo to be had anywhere... I guess I'm just ranting, it pisses me off!

Logged into GD at three a.m. the Saturday morning after the announcement and by weekends end had purchased 3,000 loaded rounds and 3000 ss109 projectiles, all at "pre-panic" prices.

I was planning on buying a couple of cases of ammo in the coming months anyway, I just moved the purchase date up..Wasn't planning on all of it to be m855/ss109 though..but hey, it's accurate in my rifle, and Obama doesn't want me to have it, so win-win.

8 cans full in the closet. I ordered a case of PRVI m855 and a 420rd can of Federal from PSA on 2/14 at 5AM.

I was going to buy some anyway, just moved it up a week or two.

i bought 27k xm193 IMI, 10k federal xm855 in cans, and 4k carl gustaf.

i fully plan on neckbearding the shit out of it when prices reach 1.00 per round. until then, i am not interested in selling.

eta: i have 23k of xm855, i like the ammo. have been stashing it away for years.

all was purchased at normal prices when the prices were low

Don't own a 223 or 5.56 firearm so no ammo purchased. Did buy 2,000 rounds of 5.7x28mm as it was on sale cheap.

None. I'm not going to get involved in a panic buy for what amounts to shit ammo in the first place. OTOH, while fools are running around paying 2x or 3x what M855 is worth, I might actually add a few more boxes of Federal 62 grain Fusion to my stash here and there.

I thought I was doing okay with just a little north of 10k rounds, you guys know how to make a man feel inadequate! Been trying to build up and replace, guess I am not doing it quickly enough. Those dang suppressors kept interfering. I guess it is time to order some more and I just bought another suppressor.

1000 carl gustav from aims u r plus
2-150 lake city bulk boxes
12- 30 round boxes of ZQI.

Above is m855

I also got 2-150 round bulk packs of the 193.

All prices were regular about 30 cpr, except the carl gustav.

bought another 570rds of turkish m855 last week,no one around her seems to want it.

I've been buying 2-3 a week since the price dropped to $9.97 and I filled my 4th .30 ammo can of it,570rds per can..

now to wait and turn it into 5K of M193
