Cinnamon in chili?  The only thing chili should have in it is ground beef, kidney beans, tomatoes, onions, and a few normal spices.

Holy shit.  You made a list of what DOESN'T go in chili.

maybe he cooks for a retirement community...

Update?

This has turned into a debate about chili vs chile.

Spices and beans go great in chili. In chile, only green or red chiles from NM, light salt, light pepper, that's it. Sometimes fried with some light olive oil is ok too.

Thanks to the OP's question, I worked all weekend in my super secret laboratory to find out what will remedy his situation.  Finally stumbled on the solution, add 3/4 cup of syrup of ipecac to the chili, that will solve the problem.

The chili's in the crock pot and it smells like a damned Cinnabon now.  I guess I should have measured ingredients instead of just guessing.

Anything I can add to the chili to kill the cinnamon taste it's sure to have?  There's already stewed tomatoes and tomato sauce in there.

This place should help you get the gayness, sweetness, cinnamon taste out of your mouth

Lord Jebus, I got's the gay, hep me, hep me!!!

Lmao!!

I have both of those things.  Is this really going to help or was it a smart-ass answer to mess up my food?  This is GD, so I have to ask.

You've already fucked it up.  Might as well go for broke.

What we have heah is a failure to communicate! There ain't no fookin carrots, beans, tomato paste, coriander, in chili. Some artsy-fartsy kind o' stew from like a Graham Kerr cookbook maybe, but what you got ain't chili..  44

Wow, a Texan remembers Graham Kerr.  Put him on the watch list, too.
