I order it hot....I generally specify Indian hot not white folk hot, Im obviously not a Indian. The result is 50/50 they either serve me something with no heat thinking im confused or they decide to teach me a lesson and pour it in. Generally I'm happy with the extra hot but about 1 in 10 the first bite tastes like regret and I have to Play cool while my guts smolder.

Naan is the sugar devil in disguise I love it but it spikes sugar like nothing else. I have to stick to roti
I have been doing lots of Indian at home... cant wait to travel again |

It makes me sad. |

I am white as they come but used to travel for work. I developed my pallet for Indian and Thai - the hotter the better. I have to have one of my brown buddies with me when I go to Indian places in the states - I tell them India hot and seldom does it come out spicy. When they do kick up the heat, they usually give me a nod on the way out Did I mention I miss traveling? Ive been going to the local indian grocery store, buying the spices and making it myself... except for the mango pickle. That stuff is like crack! I can go through a jar a day :) |

Makhani(butter chicken) and tikka masala aling with some poori are my top favorite food!
Looks like you got chicken tikka kabob too op |

I refuse to eat Indian unless it is a buffet. It must pass a sniff and poke test before I eat it. The descriptions on the menu are usually a huge fail IME. I do like Indian food a lot.

The make my eyes water and may ass burn n bleed for a week brigade has arrived I see...
Your palates must be shot if you can't eat something without hot sauce. |

I like Indian food.
I always grab a hot dog when I go into a 7-11. |

Lamb vindaloo is my go to. I order most everything a “3” out of 5. Last time that shit was about a 10. It was inedible. I gave it the old college try however and paid for it the next day.

Not a fan, there is an Indian restaurant 6 blocks from Casa Del Otto.
6 chances I gave them. Meh. |
|
It's pretty damn tasty. It gets a bad rap because of the reputation for filthy hygiene habits, but the basic concepts are there for delicious cuisine.

I love Indian food.
I usually put naan on the plate and scoop stuff on stop (like a pizza), then knife/fork it. So good. Really cleans out the pipes if you order right. |
|
I bribe the servers for the tandoori legs since they either don't put them on the buffet or go very fast. Tikka is a close second favorite. This place also has kheer with birfan burfee dessert. I'm sure I butchered the spelling but it's cream sugar and rice and amazing.

So living in a Indian food desert (I live overseas) I decided to learn how to make my own Indian food. Having an Instantpot I combined these two recipes and created amazing butter chicken;

The vegetarian stuff is a no go for me, but you'll never see me turn down spicy meat and carbs.

No. The sickest I've ever been was from eating Indian food in Portsmouth, England.
Looks like cat food But I did make friends with some dudes on the Jalashwa (ex LPD-14) and that chow was pretty good. |
|
Looks good. Who doesn't like chicken and gravy?
Not in before the tender tummies. |
|
Homemade ghost pepper Tikka Masala is one of my favorite mass prepped meals

I like Indian food, a lot. We make it at home fairly often. I cheat and buy the Stonefire brand naan bread.

I make saag paneer frequently using feta,as my favorite way to use up spinach that has survived 2 days in the fridge but won’t make it 3. The complexity of flavor Indian food is just fantastic, one of my favorites. |

Is that a before shot? That red stuff is mostly how it looks afterward.
