I don't understand the mindset of of South Korea, Japan, Taiwan. If thry violate your airspace, the violate theirs. If they shoot a missile over your country, then you shoot one over theirs. This is how you respond to a bully. You don't give them an inch. And you tell them if it ever happens a second time, then you will shoot their shit down, or drop a missile on them. You tell them if they want a war over their shit then you'll give'm one. That's how you get them to stop and call their bluff. And if they call your, then it's time for war, or you'll be their little bitch forever.

I voted ‘I don’t care,’ but truthfully, we have service members there so I do.
I really think China is just stupid enough, and Xi just craven enough (a La Putin) to fuck around too much and find out. Then we’re going to KNOW that China’s military is just a big a joke as Russia’s. No proven tech, unproven logistics or supply under fire, no experience anywhere really. No NCO corps that knows anything more than kissing ass to tow the Party line. Officers? As bad as our Generals. All political animals. Leadership? Putin level dumb. Their shit might work a skoch better than Russia’s, but under fire? Human wave attacks only work if you can project power. Not saying you won’t get your nose bloodied, but realistically, the Chinese public doesn’t have the stomach for it any more than the Russians. And it hurts their economy more. Shit. They get shooting and their adversary decides to sink every Chinese flagged fishing or shipping vessel…. No food, no income. Yes they have 1.5 B people. To feed. Employ. And keep happy. There’s no outcome where China doesn’t get hurt as least as much as us. |
