I'm sorry your grammer lost.
Posting casual shit on the web is serious business? Some of you fucking guys, are so anal. Take a deep breath and repeat after me, it's just the internet. |

OP, the answer is obvious. Everybody here is just drunk all the time. Why don't you try spelling correctly when you're on a bender!

I have noticed a precipitous drop in grammar, syntax and punctuation here on ARF. Some from well established and intelligent posters. Is it because many are posting from their phones with tiny screens and auto correct, or are posters just getting dumber? It's maddening. It will, however, change nothing. When a man has no pride in how he presents himself, it becomes easy to throw out smokescreens like blaming autocorrect, or keyboard size. Always blame one's tools for one's shoddy work. It's the ARFCOM way. |

OP, instead of a period after your first sentence, you should have a semicolon (;) or a dash (-).
What goes around, comes around |

I spell gooder than some and betterer than you was thought. Get off my jock.

The people who do this are probably on their phones. They are probably being influenced by the 13er crowd as well.

This is the internet and this is a forum. This isn't English 202, or Composition 101. None of that shit matters.
If the designers of this forum were to go so far as to make it mandatory that all sentences have the proper structure before the reply was posted, people would be leaving this site in droves. |

How about the guys who don't know enough to add an "s" at the end of a word like LEFTISTS, COMMUNISTS, GUESTS, and other singular words that end in "st".
A classic example is "The leftist are taking over the country." Exactly which leftist are they talking about? |

I usually type on my phone, which often makes me look drunk. I do not drink.

Proper title should read, There's a massive decline in grammar and punctuation on ARfcom.

The pro-gun vote of someone who makes spelling errors is just as valuable as some pompous cunt, and I'd prefer not to drive them off, or shame them into silence.

Does it really matter? If it's there or they'er or to , too. The idea of writing is to get a point across. Spelling, punctuation, and grammar are not important. Flame away.

Is it "in grammar and punctuation" or "of grammar and punctuation"?
Eta like arfcom, you chose both. |

Just a lot of hillbillies with internet access since the president promised to get internet out to rural areas that don't have internet access.

Because when we don’t punctuate it means we don’t know grammar and punctuation right for when we communicate on social media in a format like this and be aware of when to pause like a comma or get get run on sentences that are like you know harder to read without knowing this.

Why does it matter? Most people here don't read too good noway.

I got lazy and my eyes got old.

I have two excuses. I have fat fingers and the keys are tiny and English is not my first language, and every English teacher told me so.

Autocorrect has a lot to do with it, I reckon. It’s shit software with shit human engineering. Give me some squiggles to let me know something looks funny. Don’t change my type of “disturbance” from “disrtibnce” to “did stir Bin Laden.” View Quote |
