S&W m38 ~ J frame Bodyguard (shrouded hammer), Airweight. 38 Sp
Maybe not a mouse gun, but a genuine self-defense handgun in a capable caliber. Mine disappears in front of back pocket, and if in the back pocket, you can camoflage the shape with a handkerchief. You never have to worry about pocket lint jamming it like you do with an auto. Dead nuts reliable. |

I have a 10yr old KelTec P32 that's been flawless with S&B 73gr FMJ. ~800rds through it with nary a hiccup. It's the gun I carry when I can't carry a gun.
|
|
I have a Kel Tec PF9 and it's been 100% through a few hundred rounds over the years. I take it out and shoot it every now and then. I've been really impressed with it. Snappy recoil, but it's easy to carry and is 7+1 of 9mm.

|
The P3AT is pretty easy to carry in a pocket, and mine is 100% reliable. I only use ball ammo in it, though.

My LCP has been 100% through the 200 I have through it so far. Great pocket gun. I have it in my pocket right now. Like another poster said, smaller and lighter than my wallet.

Sooner or later I'll get me another LCP. They are reliable and small.

PM9 is actually pocketable and easily carried. http://<a href=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v234/THR-Thumper/Kahr1_zps47eb6445.jpg</a>" /> View Quote yep. same here. it will eat any 9x19 you put in the mag. a galco pocket holster holds it ready and securely. I also have a Walther TPH .22 that is tiny, but surprisingly accurate and 100% reliable. I have a custom-made horsehide pocket rig for it. I bought an LCP for the wife; she hated it and won't use it, so have that as well. pretty accurate, 100% reliable. |

I currently own two LCP's and both run 100 % with a large variety of ammo including defensive ammo.
Zero issues. I also own a Kel Tec P32 that because of lower recoil is actually a better shooting pistol for me and it too has been absolutely 100%. Also,I disagree to a point that the Kahr PM9 is a true pocket pistol. I own one and it too has been rock solid in reliability but unless you are wearing cargo pants/shorts or your one on those guys that need more pants room requiring those relaxed fit pants that pistol will be too tight to draw with any sort of reasonable speed from most pants pockets. |

I have a 1st Gen Kel Tec P32 that I got new in 2001. Reliable through hundreds of rounds.

I carried a P32 for years, until I decided to consolidate calibers and replaced it with a Diamondback DB9. This is what happened to my DB9 while on the range: http://www.ar15.com/media/viewFile.html?i=72897 When I get it back from DB/Taurus' warranty service, I'll likely try to trade it in for something else, maybe an LC9, or, go back to a P32. View Quote I am not at all surprised at your DB misfortune. I had a DB 380 that failed horribly and was replaced with a new pistol and the replacement also failed catastrophically. My Kel-tec P3AT has been 100% I have been packing it for about
8 years now. It has never failed, I can't say the same for my Glock G27. |

High Standard 22mag Derringer . Like that members AMT was the PERFECT pocket pistol TILL the wallet / derringer combo was Classified as a NFA item.
The spouse likes her Beretta 21A tip up 22lr for out on the town & work. Someone else mentioned a 39 S&W I have a 638-3 in a DeSantis pocket holster. Never know it's there until you sit down. Even then it's not uncomfortable. Fits real nice inside pocket of a carhart, or other work jacket. |

Ia 442 is hard to beat but I've been thinking about getting something else lately. How are the new Colt Mustangs in polymer?

Both my keltecs have been reliable and I carry the pf9 as my off duty back up (though it odes not like gold dots. it does run hydra shocks, fed classic, silver tips and hst's reliably.). The 32 was reliable with hydra shocks (the only hp I ran through it) but the department said nothing under 38/9 2 years after I got it so it became a safe queen that I eventually sold.).
Both my beretta tip ups were reliable (in the case of the 22 as reliable as rimfire gets anyways.). The 25 was 100% reliable but I am not a 25 fan so I went to the keltec 32. When I was younger I had a cheap made in Italy 22 long (not long rifle) pimp gun that was 100% reliable and surprisingly accurate. I sold it to a coworker with a stalker. I had a pre-68 ppk that was 100% reliable. If you go to front pocket instead of rear pocket carry you expand your options. In relaxed fit jeans I can pocket carry a glock 26 or detective special. WHile it is obvious there is something in that pocket, a good pocket holster makes it look like a wallet or medium sized phone. |
|
I carry a S&W 360 pd in .357 in a Galco pocket holster. It fits in a front pocket and the holster hides it's shape, but I guess if I were sitting and someone knew what to look for they could see an outline. 100% reliable so far, However every few months I need to clean out the lint and lube the cylinder or it gets a little tight. It will function, but it is harder to keep it on target during double action fire if it is tight with lint.

The false reset will give light strikes. ETA: Made in the USA too. |

I lug a Walther PPS in .40sw in my front right pocket in a Nemesis holster.
I've tried a lot of guns pocket carry - Colt Mustang, Ruger LCP, P238, Glock 27, XDS, etc. I think I finally found the one I'm going to stick with. Accurate, reliable and an actual combat pistol. |

I'm a hardcore 642 guy and carry one every day, but I sometimes think about a P32 for certain situations.

Forget the keltec p3at the real gem is the .32 ACP Keltec P32.
True mouse gun, way smaller than its .380 counterpart. Recoil isn't bad and very reliable. |

Most of the ones I have had were trouble free: Glock 42, Kahr PM9, S&W Bodyguard & Ruger 380.
The only one I have had that would not function 100% was a Kahr 380. |

My "I don't have a gun" gun is a DB380. About 400 rounds through it including some handloads that, um, might have been a little warmer than usual, and no issues at all. Very accurate, too. Either I got the only non-lemon they produced or it's just waiting for the worst possible moment to fail. Jiminy. |

I have a NAA in .22 mag. Its a mini revolver Think its called the pug. Always has went bang for me. Accurate to around 7 yards. Not sure I trust it for anything other than carrying it in places where I absolutely cannot carry I rarely carry it, its more of novelty to me View Quote Me too. Mine has always gone bang and is super easy to CC. I have however CC'd mine quite a bit. I used to run on a popular old RR trail. Unfortunatley in recent years it has attracted dirtbags as well resulting in several rapes, muggings and assaults. MY NAA mini-mag fits into a pocket holster that disappears into my running shorts but stays secure until I draw leaving the holter behind. |
