Good write up. I only dipped mine for about 5 seconds at a time. When I got close I gave the mags one final dip before rinsing.
ETA: It's been mentioned numerous times in the Magpul forum about white furniture. They haven't uttered a peep. Maybe that's good news. But we may not know till the panic subsides. |

A quick question as I am going to do this mod this week. When rinsing the parts, should you use cold water or hot water? I would think that rinsing a product that just sat in almost boiling water with cold tap water, it would have the tendency to warp, where as warm or hot water from the tap would reduce the chances of warping.
