It’d be one thing if he was getting his catches with contested throws, but it’s often nowhere near close. Sure, he can block and you don’t want to make that easy but that doesn’t mean give him a 5 yard buffer every play. |

In November 2022, Sean Payton claimed Caleb Williams was a "truly generational player" and that he is good enough that someone would tank the season to draft him and it would lead the NFL to move towards a lottery system to stop it from happening again.
